You have again failed to answer why Taylor isn’t allowed to be #1, or how this is in any way petty :rip: Do you understand what that word means? Have Taylor and SZA ever interacted for there to be any context to this other than both artists seeing an opportunity to be #1, which happens constantly. When has artists needing to “let” others’ albums get more weeks at #1 than them ever been the way the music industry has operated?

And SZA is older than Taylor :rip:

young in the music industry!

SZA fighting to keep a black female at #1 despite desperate attemps to take her out of the top, we love to see it :WAP:

I'm sick of Taylor but I hope she blocks that homophobic rat. Let me stream Midnights.

Didn't Midnights already spend like 5 or 6 weeks at #1? While SOS spent only 3 weeks at #1. Plus this is her first ever #1 album of her career. She's black, young and new in the music industry. I am sorry but  I think this move was her pettiest move ever. Very n-asty from her. No excuse here. Let other artists shine. And that extra week at #1 she will get won't even be organic and we all know that:rip:

Midnights has 5 weeks and this would the 4th week for SOS. Very unlucky timing for Midnights, given how much bigger it is.

And the difference was only 6k in the early prediction. Not like SZA was cruising to an easy #1

You all weird, back in 2010-2015 we all celebrated when pop girls went all out with promo. Nowadays, it's all "Petty, so desperate..!!!"

Our consumption habits of music has changed since the first half of the 2010s. During those years, streaming wasn't mainstream. But now that streaming is the main form of consumption, those sales tactics are totally unnecessary.

Historically, January always had the LOWEST album sales during the digital era, and now you are telling me this girl is pulling 46k pure sales in her 11th week in freaking 2023 ?

How is this NOT suspicious?! Call me an obsessed hater, delusional, psycho, I dont care, bring it on, but who the **** is still buying this album? Almost 50% of its total activity from album sales :deadvision:

I mean, if these are legit sales and not something her stans keep pulling week after week, then this is hands down the biggest female album since 25.

easy Taylor using that dam black card to purchase her album

It's not only odd that ATRL is suddenly switching from "only sales matter" to "selling your music is actually fraud" in under 3 years, but they're using it against Taylor, like she isn't also the most streamed female artist :deadbanana2: It's embarrassing at this point.

Anyway, still rooting for SZA to make the AOTY race more interesting.

SZA released it too late though. Taylor had the whole day

Even if SZA released it 5 days earlier she wouldn’t win, she is not a big seller. Also her streams are going down so Taylor can have next week too.

Yes, Taylor is petting and she likes playing the game that’s why she still relevant. Plus how could having an extra week make SZA shine, instead of whining her team should put the work. Promote of Radio (they already missed a #1 song), release videos, promote….Not every young artist is guaranteed success specially when they don’t put in the work…

SZA tweeted something homophobic 10 years ago. Something like “I want to genetically program my baby to be a girl. I am tired of seeing so many gay black guys”

Gays also love Nicki Minaj. Some gays have zero self-respect.

The irony of white gays screaming "HOMOPHOBIC" over that one SZA tweet yet clamoring to praise women like Paris Hilton as "gay icons" despite far more disgusting commentary on gay men will always be perplex me :toofunny3:

SZA isn't homophobic and you as well as anybody else knows that, simmer down babe.

I don't care if they are white, black or purple. Both Paris and SZA are homophobic trash.
