Except none of the people you tagged are actively cheering against anyone.  They are cheering for their fav and Taylor doing well takes nothing away from Sza and vice versa.  That is entirely different than people actively cheering against an artist.

Are people seriously trying to use SOS to drag Midnights? How is it a drag that Midnights’ 11th week is on par with SOS’ 4th?  

 

Both are doing very well anyway, SZA has exceeded all expectations. And Swifties wanting Midnights to return to #1 when it’s doing 106k in its 11th week and only a few thousand units behind the #1 is suddenly an issue too? Not a single one of us dragged SZA in here, this is a chart thread and people are just discussing charts 

 

And on that note, I can’t believe Midnights is still doing 100k+. I expected a big drop since that’s always happened with her due to holiday boosts being big. The demand is insane

Exactly, there’s nothing wrong with us wanting Midnights to be #1 again especially considering its units are so close to it. The fact that its still doing over 100k is monumental

Un Verano Sin Ti was blocked for a lot of weeks as well. (Harry, BTS, Drake, Kendrick, Blackpink and Beyonce)

It could've got 20+ weeks at #1...

 

The difference is UVST had insane streaming longevity that eventually got the album 13 weeks at #1 anyway While Swifties aren't that confident Midnights will outlast SOS in streaming.

I think Fearless is at about 11 million without the TV and approaching 13 million with the TV.  So it would take a while but it could happen.
