Jay L Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 It's so close it could still go either way on Billboard. I'm rooting for SZA

SOS the peoples choice of the week could still pull it with official billboard numbers. Even more impressive since SOS has zero physicals out. Once vinyls are produced or a deluxe version is put out SZA is golden. Just organic demand for an album people are actually listening to

Patient Zero Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I can't believe SZA is competing with Taylor. SZA's album is a billion times better, but it's Taylor...
Green Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 I wonder if they are underestimating SZA's streams. Because according to their streaming songs chart Kill Bill had 25.8 million streams and that seems too low considering that Kill Bill had 15 million streams on spotify alone -- 1 SZA | KILL BILL TDE/RCA (SME) 25,823,804 -- -- 2 DRAKE & 21 SAVAGE | RICH FLEX OVO/REPUBLIC (UMG) 17,041,712 -- -- 3 METRO BOOMIN, THE WEEKND & 21 SAVAGE | CREEPIN BOOMINATI/REPUBLIC (UMG) 16,151,780 -- -- 4 TAYLOR SWIFT | ANTI-HERO REPUBLIC (UMG) 15,242,551 -- -- 5 ZACH BRYAN | SOMETHING IN THE ORANGE WARNER (WMG) 14,656,361 -

Assassin Posted January 8, 2023 Posted January 8, 2023 I hope SZA takes it in the BB update. La Diabla needs to be defeated after using such cheap, pathetic and desperate tactics.

simmnfierzig Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 Does someone still have the early prediction (including the sales and streams breakdown). Because god damn that was god awful. With a more accurate early prediction Taylor probably wouldnt have done anything

Billboard has made changes during this week the last 3 years. Maybe they are weeding out sales or midweek remixes.

That makes SZA the clear favorite for this week too But a 12k sales boost from the digital albums is pretty good for Taylor.
