PopFan1996 Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 (edited) SOS can still pull through and keep the #1 200 units is nothing. Just 300k streams can make this difference Hopefully Edited January 7, 2023 by PopFan1996
YellowRibbon Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 It's very close so I wouldn't be surprised if SZA ends up going #1. However, I'm pretty sure Taylor actually sold more than that
Hot Volcano Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Quote Swift's late-week surge in digital sales was enough to end SZA's three-week run atop the chart. As always with a race so tight—this one is separated by only 200 units—expect a greater margin of error. We have Midnights at 124.6k and SOS finishing with 124.4k. SZA can still take it!!
mypaintoyou Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 How is it so close? did Taylor not sell enough? she usually sells a lot or are they underestimating her
EnoughSaid Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Only a 200 difference with all the versions and scamming Taylor ran? SOS the peoples choice of the week could still pull it with official billboard numbers.
Brodie Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Oh wow, Taylor having 5 albums predicted to still be in the top 40 after Christmas, including an 8 year old album

Zoomer Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Talent won. OTHs can now look for someone else to success-stan 💀
Green Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Wow I thought Taylor's lead would be bigger That means SZA sold her digital copies too But ATRL told me no one would buy SZA's digital albums It could go either way on the Billboard 200

Her Billboard numbers were lower than what HDD predicted But you never know
Kev Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 (edited) Billboard should know which side to butter the bread on If they ever want Taylor to perform at their shows or events again Edited January 7, 2023 by Kev

Quote It's a great start to the year, which has two female chart-toppers leading the market—hopefully a sign of a changing tide after male-dominated 2022 chart activity. Swift and SZA's critically acclaimed albums have held #1 or #2 for the past four weeks and are maintaining activity above 100k well past their release date. hdd said it best
Steve Johnson Posted January 7, 2023 Posted January 7, 2023 Sza will finish #1 on billboard 200 year end charts (2023). Her SEA units are incredible.
