we show tf out for our artists :jonny5: kinda crazy that these albums have out-lasted many pop girl albums with 1/100th of the same opportunities (e.g., major push for singles, big budget MVs, radio support, streaming payola).

Correct me if I am wrong but

RnB and Hip Hop are bigger than Pop currently in USA and have been for quite some time now.

None, really. Albums didnt chart that long pre stream era. But they had more sales

 

Confessions for example charted 148 weeks, The Bodyguard has 155. 

 

Bob Marley has a compilation album with over 700 weeks so I guess him
