You guys are honestly insane :deadbanana4: You’re in your 20s, you have 70% of your life ahead of you

True but I literally haven't done anything of note yet besides gradutaing from high school.

What? I just recently turned 26 and I have a whole new wind of passions cropping up.

My early 20s were spent partying and traveling but for my late 20’s I want to explore lots of creative avenues. I’m writing a historical fantasy novel and a series of short stories to coincide with it for all of 2023, for example, as well as working on a science fiction action/adventure comic with a friend of mine who is an illustrator. My friends and I plan to start a podcast back up that we stopped doing once COVID lockdowns ended, and I’ve got physical fitness goals to make my body look better than it’s ever looked. I want to learn to cook a lot of dishes and I also want to start taking care of more plants, something I’d never really been into until recently.

I promise, 26 is not old whatsoever and don’t let anyone make you feel that way.

If my early 20s were like yours I would not feel this way.

And that's completely fine because you have your 30s, 40, 50s and 60s ahead of you to work :psyduck:
Also about the friends thing, I'm 26 and I've never made as much friends in my life as I have this year. I meet people at work, but moreso I meet people through going out, friends of friends, etc

You can still begin traveling. You’re still young enough to enjoy it but now you’re old enough to have money, time, freedom, and experience you didn’t have when you were younger.

You’re never too old ti do anything of you have the health and ability to do so!

wtf has society done to young people? If you’re in your 20s or 30s you still have the ability to do pretty much anything!

Unless you had dreams to be a teen star or something then stfu get off your ass and WORK! Like Kim k said lol

Gen Z has a terrible work ethic tho.

I say if the OP says he's too old to do anything new, then maybe he is.  Maybe he peaked in high school.  Law of attraction.  If you think you're too old, you are.  If you think you can accomplish anything, you can.  It's that simple.

Maybe that is so. I’m a younger millennial. Will be 29 this year. Yes the angst of turning 30 is on me but I’m also aware it is all superficial. Hell people still think I’m 20-21 so age is nothing but RELATIVE. Imagine when you’re 70 you’re gonna wish you were 26!!!! 26 is still well into your prime. The OP needs to get it together!

there’s people who didn’t reach goals until their 50s and EXCELLED. You’re never too old. Unless you unfortunately get a disease that debilitated you count your blessing and MOVE FOWARD! Do what you want. Don’t let some young malnourished twinks and fickle people tell you that you’re too old.
