Only thing that’s passed me by that would be much harder to do now is brush up on my Spanish. Older you get, neural pathways

for language get much less plastic & more rigid, forgotten so much of what I used to know & think it’d be a real pain to re-learn it now

Everything. I'm in my 30s. And yeah it's too late for me to do anything now

I used to be a gymnast and I've been wanting to get back into it but I feel like it's too late to get back into in my twenties and afraid of more injuries :dancehall3:

What the hell, you're still so young. The time to start worrying would be when you reach your 50's etc.. not 26. :rip:

What? I just recently turned 26 and I have a whole new wind of passions cropping up.

My early 20s were spent partying and traveling but for my late 20’s I want to explore lots of creative avenues. I’m writing a historical fantasy novel and a series of short stories to coincide with it for all of 2023, for example, as well as working on a science fiction action/adventure comic with a friend of mine who is an illustrator. My friends and I plan to start a podcast back up that we stopped doing once COVID lockdowns ended, and I’ve got physical fitness goals to make my body look better than it’s ever looked. I want to learn to cook a lot of dishes and I also want to start taking care of more plants, something I’d never really been into until recently.

I promise, 26 is not old whatsoever and don’t let anyone make you feel that way.

Sometimes I wonder if I chose the wrong career path even though I'm happy at work, but I never let myself dwell on it too much. I'm in my mid 20's and I think it would be so stupid of me to throw away all the years of experience that I've accumulated and start from scratch when I should be securing my future. :doc:

Edit: Also not directly related to the question, but I agree with some of y'all. I'm scared life is passing me by and I'm throwing my youth away doing nothing substantial or memorable. I know I'm going to regret this if I ever live to my 30's or 40's.

Masters Degree..

i entered the work force right after passing the licensure exam and now that I'm 28/turning 29 it felt like I'm too old to take Masters Degree. was too afraid to take the risk because i dont have the funds in my early 20s but hopefully this year i will find the courage to leave my job and pursue graduate study :johnald:

That knowledge alone is the only thing keeping me going.

Yeah once you're older you pretty much only find friends through work and dating.
