what makes a random kpop boygroup member a better singer than Celine Dion?

Posted

If "genius is transcendent" how is Donna Summer ranked lower than Taylor Swift or Ariana Grande? :skull:

She literally pioneered a whole music genre.

The backtracking

Well they're right, good singer and good vocalist are different concepts. Being a good singer is not necessary hitting high notes and being technically perfect, it's more about being a performer, conveying emotion, etc.

There were flaws in the list, but it's just: a list of someone's opinion. Don't need to make a big deal

"This is the Greatest Singers list"

That's even WORSE :bibliahh:

Damage control.

I mean, they’re still saying it’s about voices just incorporating factors like creativity, influence, etc. idk

The backtracking attempts :bibliahh:

if it aint based on vocals, then why is MJ so low or why is Madonna N/A? :bibliahh:

Disrespect THE Celine Dion and y'all will feel the wrath of the GP :bibliahh:

So what is it about? Recent commercial success and online fan base size seem to have been major factors. :foxaylove4:

Haven't checked that list, but really??? This just invalidates this whole pamphlet existence. They are really trying to re-write music history, huh? That list is a bad joke that should have been publish on April Fools.

Then MJ would not be at 86, and I don't even care for him.

Their excuse makes the list look even worse. :skull:
