Zoomer Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Good to know. Was planning to watch season 1 after my finals but won’t bother now
WildAmerican Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 meh! super interesting premise, but it got way overcomplicated and messy towards the end, probably wouldn't have watched another season anyway!
The Next Day Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 This is why I don't watch new Netflix shows. Announce a huge show like it's the highlight of century and then just cancel it cause it's not another Stranger Things.
X~MoviePoP Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Damn i wanted to see more of the gay storyline
narid Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 (edited) Disappointing, but not surprised. Netflix doesn’t care about quality shows. OA was brilliant and they cancelled it after 2 seasons. Most of it’s productions now are all about targetting teenagers and viral opportunities. It’s the Tiktok of streaming. Edited January 2, 2023 by narid
OnlyManInTheWorld Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 It was absolutely tragic. One of the worst series I’ve ever watched.
Maestro Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 I couldn't get past episode 1 so this isn't surprising
Roberto Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Well, this was basically Spoiler Don't Worry Darling So, not surprised about the mixed reception. I loved it tho and it had so much potential, but whatever.
Subzero Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 omg nooo I was excited for season 2 I HATE NETFLIX
Richmond Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 It was ok but as mentioned, got way too complicated at the end. This is a millionth example of Netflix creating a show that could be 3-4 episodes but dragging it out, making it boring after a while. I just watched The Haunting of Hill House, The Watcher, and now also Midnight Mass - ALL shows that started off amazing but could’ve ended in 3 episodes and by episode 5 for all of them, I was ready to call it quits. They’re so stupid over there.
thatsmydemi Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 They have to save money for Elite's next season!
Haus-Of_Mck Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 DISGUSTING Ugh Netflix is so wrong for **** like this.
State of Grace. Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 I still haven't even finished the first episode. It looked quite intriguing though
PopKills Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 I didn’t know this series existed and I only use Netflix. Should’ve been promoted better.
bluevelvetcrowbar Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 BOOOOOOO I'm so pissed, it had potential to be a mid-tier hit if it got momentum with another season lemme not watch anymore interesting Netflix sci-fi shows cause they always cancel them in favor of making bland Riverdale-lite teen/ya dramas that are solely there to boost the careers of influencer actors
Enrique523 Posted January 2, 2023 Posted January 2, 2023 Of course they did, Netflix ****** cancel everything these days
Monster Megamind Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 Good! It was a bad show. It was so comical seeing them go from one portal to another again and again
Cas Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 **** off. It had a great mystery and I thought that it was actually popular
RockStarShit101 Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 cancelling a show after 1 season because it didn't do well? oh no!!!! this happens all the time even before streaming became a thing.
