no i absolutely agree, i can revisit twice a year and laugh at some of the mv’s (HILARIOUS in retrospect) and some of the english is sooo funny I miss when kpop was that messy

But listen to more than one of their songs on headphones? Nah pass lol

hyuna really high tailed it with the listenable music for her solo work lmao

Like, this is definitely top tier 2nd gen kpop but oh my god its like a cheese grader against your ear drum for 3 minutes :rip:

Totally forgot about this song

it was mixed by a manic aural terrorist for sure :lmao:

I never liked it but can admit the tackiness makes it top-tier 2nd gen

From their later stuff, I think HATE is still good and is basically the blueprint of all Blackpink titles lol

Enhypen are currently in Poland (filming for the comeback)

So I assume HYBE’s roster is going to go…

Seventeen (April 24)

LE SSERAFIM (May 1)

Enhypen (end of May)

NewJeans Full Album (July)

with TXT currently on world tour, and Seventeen and LSFM about to embark on theirs

+ the launch of the KOZ and Pledis nbgs

bang-pd-bts.gif

Lowkey curious about their comeback and I want them to serve another Tamed-Dashed cause it's so good.

April-May gonna be a busy months for Kpop:jonny5:

Btw why does everyone saying SKZ will comeback on April cause personally I don't see they'll likely comeback on April since they conclude The Maniac tour in LA by today. Everyone want them to rest and recovery from exhaustion and injuries from the tour first before prepared for comeback. May-June SKZ comeback are more ideal in regards of their health.

AhYoung lip-syncing in the mv to parts NOT sung by her since she had no lines whatsoever

Honestly 2nd gen music in general is kinda dated even for the time it was released in? Like 2010-2012 was some  of the best years in global Western music where we had all these pop girls and boys slaying, however Kpop releases back then was very behind and felt like they were releases from 2002-2004 if that makes sense? This is why a lot of people’s perception of Kpop are seen as “tacky”, since they still think that Kpop has the 2nd gen sound and aesthetic. But 3rd gen really shifted Kpop to a new direction and made Kpop seem more “cool” and made it easier for 4th gen to thrive globally. However a lot of people today still have all these stereotypes about Kpop.

Don’t get it twisted though, I still love me some of those dated 2nd gen music :katie2:

Not but why is Shakalaka still hitting after all these years :fan:

E-Tribe put their WHOLE ***** in this song and most DalShabet songs (LOVE Mr BangBang), they really deserved better

I think their last relevant credit was the LOONA/Grimes song

That stayc thing is planned. So corny. But we knew they could sing when performing anyway.

I must admit that at first I didn't care for Stray Kids at all but after all the intrusive and aggressive propaganda and spamming on this forum I'm starting to like them more and more  :deadbanana4:

I think 2nd gen got its **** together tho and shifted concepts for the third gen to start. Like, yeah, most of 2nd gen was 2000's electropop with a hook that involved saying something in english over and over again but then f(x) and Shinee started experimenting with more "artsy" concepts and then everyone else followed along.

Thats how i CHOOSE to remember it anyways :katie2:
