The majority of these gay men in relationships are miserable  I certainly was at my most miserable when I’ve been hung up with men. 
 

Being single is lovely when you have friends and family you’re close with. It’s not like we’re all sitting inside our homes alone with a glass of whiskey

It’s only because many gay men didn’t grow up with relationships being normalized. Generally gay men start their lives much later than straight people. Add in the fact that gays are a minority, and there’s compatibility and attraction. All of these things are some of the reasons gay men tend to be the most single out of everyone.

Yeah this. I used to think it was just us gays but even my straight female friends  seem burnt out on the idea of a relationship. I think a lot of it has to do with men cheating more casually nowadays. They either cheat or they stay single so they don’t have to. That and socioeconomic factors as well

We don’t all have to have relationships. So many older gay men have such great networks of friends and systems of mutual support that millions of straight men in relationships do not have. Leave the heteronormative ideals y’all wanna project on gays so badly in 2022 please
