FailSafe Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 (edited) Hi so I subscribed to PS5+ for 12 month and I want to cancel the auto renew but there's no "cancel auto renew" option so this is where I ended up I am aware that it says "you will lose your benefits at 17/12/23" on the lower left corner of the screen but I just want to make sure that I still get the full benefits ( online multiplayer, catalogue games, monthly free games) until the expiration date next year if I press "confirm cancellation". So is it okay to confirm cancellation? Edited December 30, 2022 by FailSafe
Attitude Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 You get all the benefits until the membership runs out.
DoctorIce Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Yeah, you'll keep all the benefits until the end date on screen. Just confirm cancellation to prevent it automatically renewing next December.

Idk Why would Sony have to make things complicated but it's not it
The Last of Us Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Like others have said, you’ll keep all of the benefits until the date shown. They have also removed the auto-renewal option for some weird reason, but I’ve noticed they’ve removed a lot of cool things that PS4 had and I have no idea why.
jezebelvictoria Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 It literally answers your question. You even said "I know it says". Why are humans like this.

Why are humans like this. I was just trying to make sure because it used to have an auto renew cancel button but it suddenly disappear. I had to go to subscription and reluctantly press "cancel subscription" AND THEN have to deal with the menu in the OP. It's like Sony trying to have users second guess and hope that some renew the service by accident because they refuse to make things clearer. Edited December 30, 2022 by FailSafe
