H100: AIWFCIY #1 (11x) Wham! #5

Does it look possible for Anti-Hero to remain in the top 10 again this week? Obviously this week will have the first three tracking days as the 23rd, 24th and 25th (aka the biggest days for holiday music), but then four days where holiday music will contribute little to nothing. So I’m not sure if those two factors will cancel each other out and keep the points the same or lower…

Last year when we had 2 important holiday days for the tracking period (Dec 24h and 25th) the consumption inevitably saw a decrease due to the rest of the days being gradually weaker for holiday titles. In this case, I think this could be the scenario (using AIWFCIY as example).

Streams going down 18% (from 48.5M to 40M)

Airplay going down 44% (from 39.5M to 22M)

Sales going down 30% (from 11k to 8k).

Even though, those 3 days are going to be enough to pull very big numbers, the consumption is going to decrease, thus, the impact from Christmas music should be smaller.

The christmas songs will stay about the same. Maybe decrease a little bit, increase isnt happening.

Anti-Hero will be down as its streams were super low over christmas, but I think it should stay top 10

Ari :duca: I would love to see STM to go Top 10, such a deserved classic right there.

She needs it so she can keep record of having Top 10 hits every year since her debut

It makes no sense, final tracking day is tomorrow, December 29th 2022

Full tracking week is based off of 2022 still

Of course it doesnt make sense, but its the way it is.

Mariah was counted as having a #1 in the 2020s decade when she was #1 in the 2019 Christmas week

I know, but that’s how the records are reported. Mariah had the first #1 of the 2020s because of this for instance.

Yeah, Billboard always has been a mess with the dates they report. And it used to be 2 weeks of difference until 2017  :rip:

At least there's only one week of difference right now  :skull:

If that doesn't make sense, just wait until you find out that Billboard's 2023 tracking year began with the chart dated November 19, 2022, which corresponds to the tracking week of November 4-10, 2022. So, the December 31, 2022 chart that was just released is the 7th week counted towards the 2023 tracking year, and the tracking week that ends tomorrow is the 8th week counted towards the 2023 tracking year.
