1- It's pretty to look at but is definitely not functional. Any stains (which are likely to happen in a kitchen) will stick out like a sore thumb and I'm honestly not a big fan of white tiles in a kitchen (or bathroom). When the place is a bit messy, the flooring looks so dirty :biblio: 6/10

2- I dislike black-themed interiors but I loved how it is well-balanced with the contrast of being a lit area. These are the only places where I personally see black interiors working on a functional-aspect. I don't like the cabinets, however. Plus, the handles? Where are the handles?   6.75/10

3- It's way too woody for my liking. Also, the texture is not welcoming and I'm not living for the microwave being at the epicentre of the kitchen view. The tiles and lantern are certainly not helping it's case as well. 3.25/10

4- I really like this one! I'm not a fan of modern interiors as portrayed by my opinions on these threads but these vintage interiors paired with a soft ivory white shade and a golden hour-lit atmosphere makes it feel very warm, cosy, comfortable and welcoming. I'm living for the cute semi-arch structure around the cooking station :yum:  My critique would be the lack of storage. 8/10

5- Like I've earlier stated, I don't like the black interiors as it dimmers the lighting of the room and low-lighting can channelize into being more tired than usual, so it doesn't help in productivity. It looks very sleek though and I can see why people would like it. 7/10

6- I adore this one  It's very mid-century inspired and the sage green/teak colour palette make for a very attractive kitchen. It also feels very spacious and functional. My only critique would be that fridge. Sticks out like a sore thumb and it disrupts the calm vibes that the kitchen is giving. 9/10

7- It's ok but I'm not a fan of the contrasting texture and colour between the wood and matte. Also the TV? In a kitchen? Very random. I'm sure a tablet or phone with a stand will do the job, if the defending point is that it's for recipe tutorials. 6/10

8- I'm all for well-lit kitchens but it seems like too much is happening here with the interior colours and textures. The wood...the marble...the platform...the backsplash...the steel texture (from functional items of the kitchen). I can see why some would feel it syncs well but it does not really click with me. Also, that lighting panel needs to be raised a little higher. Tall people deserve to look at their food with ease!  My fave part would be the long platforms. Gives a lot of space to store.  Also, why are there two sinks? Okay, I'd get it's functionality near the cooking station but it's literally faced opposite? So a person trying to drain pasta will have to take a semi-round? Seems more convenient to use the nearby sink. 7/10

Overall, I'd choose 4 or 6 :date:

Something about 5 screams warm and comfortable :jonny:

6! Most of them feel sterile

8, give me that counter space. Plus the view.

4 is my dream

4. It looks so warm and sweet

Posted

8, because of all the counter space.

No 4 has zero counter space. Who dafuq would choose it?

6. It fits my style and the butcher block island looks amazing. The other ones look too industrial and uninspired. The dark ones would be annoying to clean/keep maintained. Number 4 is charming but too small and not enough counter space to prepare food.

#1 or #6 (though the floor is ugly). #4 looks cool because of the older style, but the rest are all ugly.

5 or 7. Imma go with 7 so I can actually see what im cleaning

I love the 4 and 6 for their warm and cozy vibes, and I'll go with #6 because I need a lot of space.
