- Ralph Lauren polo shirt and sweater from my aunt cause we were visiting the extended family. There is NO WAY I'd wear that. Absolutely not. 21 years and this woman still cannot learn that I do not like clothes as gifts.. anyway

My boyfriend went wayyyyy overboard and I feel embarrassed even posting what he got me but I ended up with 2 pairs of louboutin sneakers, Gucci loafers, a Versace belt and sweatshirt, dsquared jeans, a McQueen t shirt, some other smaller things and some creed aftershave. I got him some nice stuff too, but god was it awkward this morning opening all of that when I spent probably not even half as much on him. I truly hate how capitalistic everything is and how everything on my timeline this morning was flannels bags or Rolexes and stuff when it was not that way even 2 or 3 years ago. The rest of the people in my life didn’t really get me much, and usually I spend a lot more on him than he does on me and he got a big promotion at work this year so I think he felt like he had something to prove and I’m obviously very grateful for him doing that but I would’ve been happy with a pair of Nikes or something.
