US - 3M UK - 400k France - 45k (est.) Germany - 165k (est.) Not sure about the Asian markets. EDIT: oh maybe you meant for the 22M? That's just the breakdown for Midnights here. Klein Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 22M in a single year is absolutely insane. Her catalogue is so insanely powerful and valuable. No wonder they don't want to sell her her masters.
Michael196 Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 She manifested it, but all of you clowned her for this... https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS82yeXr9/

Hector Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 Is this enough for her to surpass BTS for IFPI's #1 Global Artist Of 2022 title?
MingYouToo Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 7 minutes ago, Hector said: Is this enough for her to surpass BTS for IFPI's #1 Global Artist Of 2022 title? Oh for sure. BTS are on their off year. The real battle now is in pure sales (IFPI has another chart for that) and BLACKPINK will probably wash Taylor in that department since theyre nearing 3M pure with Born Pink.
ronelmaano13 Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 She can print millions of vinyl and people will buy them. They will not rot in the discount bin on a dollar store. Congrats, Taylor for having the demand others wish they have.
queenoftheclouds Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 Republic can Update the albums owned by BM? Wouldn't This be from Lover onwards only?
gustavothehuman Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 Some artists take the entire decade to sell 22 million albums
gustavothehuman Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 Just now, queenoftheclouds said: Republic can Update the albums owned by BM? Wouldn't This be from Lover onwards only? No, but Taylor herself can request an audit and update the certifications.
gustavothehuman Posted December 22, 2022 Posted December 22, 2022 Oh wait, I thought you were asking about US certifications, nevermind.

You are overestimating Blackpink quite a lot BTS had 6.1 M pure physical album sales this year (back catalogue + compilation album alone). I think they are still challenging Taylor in physicals. Their streaming numbers are also massive but Taylor should probably have the edge on this one as she released new album and didn't depend on her old discography alone. Overall units could go to her or Bad Bunny even. Blackpink is not nearing even half of those sale numbers and already stagnated in streaming
Yuanyu Posted December 23, 2022 Posted December 23, 2022 I'd love to know where those streams her label is reporting are coming from
family.guy123 Posted April 7, 2023 Posted April 7, 2023 what's the breakdown by album and by country for that 22 number
