Sure but there is no need to shame people who can fix issues that bother them.

Saying “natural beauty is the way” is a personal opinion. That user didn’t shame a single person for doing botox :rip:

You’re giving “whoever said money can’t solve your problems must not have had enough money to solve them”.

that doesn't make any sense wtf? :spin:I don't judge anyone who touches their face because they're terrified of aging but I'm not a fan

Best decision of your life. Tretinoin is amazing for your skin.

I hope so. I have such dull skin and everyone comments about how tired I look and I'm like? It's just my pale dull skin. :rip:

I get lip fillers, there’s no need for me to use botox yet, but I wouldn’t mind using it in the future:flower:

My biggest dream is a nose job tho, even after streaming Born This Way 62653 times I still hate it and the thought that it will grow even larger over time (it’s already huge) scares the living **** out of me:noparty:

Yeah I don't really need It, but It would be fun to try once :kitty:

Well that's fine, I just hope it doesn't turn into an addiction, because that'd be bad for someone who doesn't need it like u. :dancehall:

Well, if it is the pale skin that's your issue, than Tretinoin won't help you.

Tretinoin is good to smooth your skin, make it look younger, uniform the color - so that it doesn't look like you have 100 shades of gray, white and brown skin tones just on your face.

If you feel like being pale is the issue, maybe you could try some light make up, just to give your face a little bit of color. Very unnoticeable. Like, some red on your cheeks, very gently, and it would give you a brand new face.

I solved my nose issue with fillers too. Forgot to mention that.

No I haven't.

I get people saying I look way younger than what I am still

/ the idea of needles and weird **** in my skin turns me off.

But live your own lives a ton of people rock it and if it helps

your mental state / confidence go for it <3

Just a little botox and I've done lip filler for years.

No lol. I need to start using eye cream first before doing anything to my face. I love my current face a lot more than when I was younger. My features pop so much after I lost my baby fat.

All jokes aside, I don’t think I’ll do anything to my face until I’m like 45 probably (28 now). I do want to age gracefully though!

No, it just cheapens it for those of us who are naturally exquisite

No but I had a significant amount of orthodontics for nearly 10 years, otherwise, my underbite was so severe that I would have had to have had reconstructive jaw surgery. There’s a misconception that all that stuff is just for straight teeth. I would’ve been ugly as **** if my parents didn’t put me through the retainers, headgears & braces so thanks mom & dad! :flower: I’ve considered lip filler but I’ll wait till the hype around big lips dies down. Hard to tell if it’s something I intrinsically need or if everybody’s blown up rn & I feel inadequate only by comparison

Planning to get rhinoplasty in a year. In USA it is like $20K, so I plan to go to Turkey that has a lot of great surgeons and it costs like $5K with a week accommodation and aftercare :giraffe:

filler, sure, but why not botox?

Yeah idk what makes botox so bad compared to filler especially if used in moderation for preventative measures

No and it makes me sad when I see people around my age promoting Botox and calling it “preventive Botox” or “baby Botox”. Like, call it what it is, it’s just Botox. I understand it in the future but for people in their early 20s to be promoting it, that’s wild to me

I'll be 30 years old in two weeks and I still get ID'd at the bar from time to time :toofunny3: It also doesn't help that I am relatively hairless. I'm not opposed to botox and I can see myself getting it in my early 40s but I just don't have the desire to get it done yet since I don't have any lines, crows feet, forehead lines etc but I also read that its best to get it done before the lines start appearing but ehh I'll wait lol.

No but I truly want to have plastic surgery in the future. I want a rhinoplasty, a chin implant and maybe some fat removal.

It's not because I'm afraid of aging. I'm just ugly and i want to be pretty

I got a forehead reduction lmao it was the best decision ever

No but I did start tretinoin in hopes I don't look 45 when I hit 30. :chick3: I'd probably never get any injections to my face.

I thought tretinoin was for acne?

No. But would in a second if I could afford it, just wouldn't go overboard with it.

Okay but that’s a real thing though. Botox won’t do nearly as much for you if you start late in life - people call it preventative and say to start it early because it helps prevent wrinkles. And it will help with already formed wrinkles if there 1. Aren’t many, 2. Are very fine.

I haven’t had any botox (or fillers) aside from medical botox (for migraines) but I know people personally who are in their 20s and get it, and it’s a wonderful thing. There is this negative connotation surrounding botox, but it’s actually a great thing at a young age if used properly…

No

please don’t get Botox until you’re at least 40. Don’t get fillers till you’re in your 40s

you will just end up making things worse if you guys are in your 20s/30s now and “getting ahead”

Fillers, yes.

Botox, no.

There's a thing called preventive botox. It's a norm here in Thailand as well as in South Korea that we get botox around the age of 20s. Reason being, you do not want your lines to appear before, or else you'd find it difficult to remove (which you may require filler to do so and a year long CO2 laser treatment). Botox relaxes muscle, so skin is not stretched or when you frown, it will not give you any lines in the future. My advice? Do preventive botox!
