:giraffe: show us the taste

Posted (edited)

This website is so broken :rip: It won't let me edit the OP from my laptop and I don't have the time and the energy to deal with that so let me just drop my list.

As previous years, it's based only on number of plays with minimum changes (like if something really aged for me I would lower it a bit). I know the order is bit questionable but some of these songs were just more addictive than the others :fan:

This year was nice music wise, definitely better than 2021. The Weeknd definitely owned it for me (what a surprise, I know :oh:) but he really delivered his magnus opus, Dawn FM is simply a masterpiece. The whole album charted in my top 20 ( :rip: ) but I decided to include only my top 5 to give some space to the others

anyway, here it is:

1. The Weeknd – Less Than Zero

I don't know a better song, I literally don't

2. The Weeknd – Out of Time

instant CLASSIC

3. The Weeknd – Is There Someone Else?

tommy brown best production ever me thinks

4. SG Lewis – Something About Your Love

5. SG Lewis – Missing You

SG Lewis best producer out there confirmed. SAYL is just *chef kiss*, 2000s french house perfection

6. Bad Bunny – Ojitos Lindos (feat. Bomba Estereo)

this nostalgic masterpice

7. The Weeknd – How Do I Make You Love Me?

8. The Weeknd – Sacrifice

both classics

9. Calvin Harris – Potion (feat. Dua Lipa & Young Thug)

it aged a bit but still slaps. deserved better for sure

10. Nicki Minaj – Super Freaky Girl

what can I say here  a bop is a bop

11. Charli XCX – Constant Repeat

my fave song ever from her I think? perfect pop song really

12. Alfie Templeman – Broken

Adeventure Of a Lifetime by Coldplay but better

13. SZA – Shirt

The rest of SOS will be included on next year's list. Definitely my fave album this year after Dawn FM

23. Beyoncè – Break My Soul

Gasoline is NOWHERE to be found... :'( Potion kinda aged on arrival nn. You forcing yourself to play/like Lift Me Up nnn, yeah it's just okay. Same for Unholy and Sweetest Pie.
