I’m very neutral on Sam Smith in general but I do notice they come off as a bit awkward with this more sexualized and risqué image they are now going for. They just don’t have the natural charisma and seductiveness to give it justice imo. And no their weight and outfit has nothing to do with it.

Sam sounds good. It's not even that they look that bad... It's just that now that we've seem them be super super skinny and pull it off really, really well, the weight gain is glaring.

 

Still, In The Lonely Hour was such a good album. I don't really get what happened to them after that.
