I honestly been seeing more positivity with Lizzo’s & Harry’s Coachella outfit, if I wanna be honest, I swear to god, I genuinely believe people just don’t like Sam doing things that would make them feel good about themselves but you can happily disagree but that tweet I posted  is receiving many likes, so many people seem to agree the double standard

I'm happy to see Sam succeeding, but this outfit is not flattering  The tank top sleeves cheapen the entire look. It would look better with shoulders of some sort

Nobody is critiquing sams body it’s just not a flattering look for them. It’s trying to be androgynous but the belt is really what ruins it on a more masculine shape because it tricks your eyes into expecting to see hips when Sam obviously doesn’t have them so it’s jarring to see. It’s an unflattering costume and I honestly can’t see anyone pulling it off, whether they were fat thin or whatever. Kim’s outfit is atrocious too and doesn’t fit her frame very well. Are we also bullying her?

This is a choice lol you can’t help being femme. They tried the straight acting thing during their first era and didn’t enjoy it because it isn’t who they are. I won’t lie, I never like what they’re wearing though so I agree with you there.

There are several issues here.

 

The performance itself is not convincing, especially from Kim. 

Sam also looks like the wrong pick for this song. I am still surprised that they actually wrote it, because the 2 or 3 performances I have seen were pretty bad. It almost look like the song owns them, not the other way round

 

And yes their outfit is not flattering. Nothing wrong if you are not size zero or totally ripped, but when you chose to go on stage like that, you also have to live with the criticism.

 

 

Edit: actually, I take it back. Sam is even worse than Kim here, especially at the beginning. My gawd.
