I see UK fans in the comments sections on her IG posts representing and asking for UK and Europe dates. That's how we have to do it for the next few months folks!

Yeah idk if I even wanna support this.

:rip: where are you all getting this from...the photo? She said new music will be included. The budget has increased somewhat. This won't be #1s or SOTW in any way I hope.

I prefer arenas and getting the better lighting and environment I just feel you get that better intimacy, so it's why I've been hating that so many artists are doing stadiums and unless you're paying the bigger bucks you don't get the best view.

Being in May it'll be warmer, but this venue is right beside the water so it just gets colder at night and then the show is rain or shine but like 95% of it is covered except the last few rows in the back section and then the lawn.

I like outdoor shows with seating, but the only issue with most amphitheaters is zero lower level seats on the sides and too much humidity. Plus the traffic at these shows is bad. I'd get there hours early and tailgate with fans if possible.

Never been to Toronto, but have family and friends there and have been wanting to plan a trip!

Price according to Hard Rock.

That's within budget. Will be securing floor seats, of course.

It just gives me number ones tour. I’m still gonna go but being she doesn’t dance like she used too I prefer she put more money in production to provide spectacle lol

And the Hollywood bowl is such TRASH when it comes to traffic. I always try to avoid concerts there like the PLAGUE.

I rebuke it!  #1s was cute for 2011. But we have moved on to greener pastures. :gaynetcat4:

Not only has her setlist improve drastically (SOTW especially), but Metamorphosis and these 2022 shows proved that the stage can be better as well as the outfits. She also gave plenty of choreography for SOTW and the 2022 shows!

Also, may the butchers gown, space ship onesie and lumberjack outfits be in the vault in exchange for improved fashions!

Even if it doesn't happen in Europe (I could see big venues no longer wanting to work with her after repeated cancellations), I'm just thrilled she's confirmed that new music is indeed coming. Unbreakable may not have been her best work, but it has aged far better than I expected. Janet still knows how to feed us with food cooked slowly.

Hopefully she came come over to Europe, though. I'm willing to travel to any country in Benelux/France or even Switzerland if she can't make it to Germany or Italy.

I don't think Black Diamond is completely gone, I feel like we'll get a revamped version of that album/tour.

Would explain why she’s only done festivals in Europe whenever she’s bothered. Unbreakable left her Uninsurable.

And honestly it makes me sad but everytime she does another tour but neglects us it just makes me unstan a little bit more. She cancelled on us in 2016 and it’s been silence ever since, how many times does she need to tour America:noparty:

The North American Tour seems to end early. I can def see her doing international dates from July forward. I heard she was scouting venues in the UK as she also lives there.

I definitely hope so but it’s not being billed as a world tour anywhere so I have my doubts

It's unacceptable. My first Janet show was in the UK and I'd love for you all to experience it.

She's definitely going to do Europe. We have to demand it. If we stay quiet, they won't do anything about it.

I think the 2022 festival shows were a sign of what we would have gotten in 2020, minus any new songs and staging.

Not excusing it at all, but North America is her biggest market and especially as an independent artist, it ensures income.

It just doesn't make sense that Europe continues to get a small number of dates every few years or completely ignored or canceled. She's had several top 10 hits throughout Europe as well as an impressive number of certifications for her albums and singles. Even when she was touring Europe during the 1990s, she didn't go to every territory that she had success in.

She has never announced all of the dates at once, to my knowledge. I don't think most artists do.

True but Unbreakable was marketed as the “Unbreakable World Tour” when only the US dates were announced so I think it kind of implies this is US only

:cries: maybe 2024 my love, that's the same weekend as the closing night show.

Let's aim for Europe festivals in both summer 2023 and 2024 with some arenas and theaters!!

Just in time to promote Damita Jo (20th Anniversary Edition) when she puts Could This Be Love and I'm Here on streaming finally

She intended for it to be global, but only canceled due to her pregnancy. Regardless of whether it's labeled US or World, if you want to see Janet, you have to ask for it!

Didn't she sold out the hollywood bowel show, why is she doing the only theatre date in LA? Her demand would be huge in LA......

I want UK dates, especially Manchester. She cancelled on me in 2016. I was so excited with the unbreakable rollout and got my tickets in hands.

She's also doing Irvine in the Los Angeles area.

I hope she returns to Manchester, UK as well! :heart2:

Ugh I was hoping the Hollywood show prices were for the arena shows. I bet the pricing is similar to black diamond, the $499, $399 and $299 are most likely for first, second and third row tickets.

Posted

$499 sounds like the M&G right? I'd love to meet her. That's super inexpensive.

Posted

Ummm omg she's playing really near where I live, I gotta get tickets :jonny:

Posted

How is she not doing a London date?? She literally lives here.

Posted

This again looks uninspired. She just extended her concert of Unbreakable over and over

Posted

She looks so good and strangely giving baby-faced Diff'rent Strokes vibes in the announcement video, and absolutely **** in the actual photos. The combination of her horrible makeup artist and the constant heavy-handed photoshop makes her look like every other botched gal out there when she actually doesn't. Frustrating.

Anyway, no interest in this. Put a ******* album out.

I would have preferred an album before a tour too :gaycat7:
