lestat111 Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 (edited) Im afraid it gonna be no new music at all, and it will look like number ones tour that she did in 2010/2011. small stage, 1 outtfit.. we deserve better. Edited December 12, 2022 by lestat111
Jay07 Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Sadly, all her tours have been pretty low budget in the past ten years but her residency looked great. As I said she deserves better.

PopThatCorn Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 She confirmed new music will be included with the tour! First date is in Hollywood, Florida in April.
SinnerCity Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 ICONIC!!!!! Hopefully we'll get a new album but I believe she'll just drop a single or something
its_britney_bitch Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Not even advertising it as a world tour, I’m sad. She’s never performing in Europe again

She’s never performing in Europe again She probably has contracts to fulfill since her last tour was delayed indefinitely thanks to covid. It's really not surprising to just see NA dates. Maybe this will just be a shorter tour since she spent many years off the roard? Her Vegas residency was also very short for example. Maybe after this tour she will launch the campaign for her new album and tour again? She said new music but the tour is named after a past hit. I'm not sure.

Jay07 Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Don't you think she could sell out a few dates in London, Paris, Berlin and Rome to make it worth it to bring the show over there? What was the last time she toured Europe?
kishi Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 I get she hasn't done a full scale European tour in a while, but rather than being defeated, we all can champion (and spam) that she goes to Europe and Latin America. Opening night is 15 minutes from my house and I will always champion for the Latin American and European fans to get some dates. I was in the comments during her IG live representing Brazil heavily and I'm not Brazilian! Don't give up....if you want it, demand it!
Bloodflowers. Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Ummmm..... where's a date for Zagreb, Croatia?

What was the last time she toured Europe? Yes, she can sell out and she has sold them out, except she's never done Rome, only Milan. Her last full scale European tour was in 1998. She unfortunately canceled AFY's European leg due to 9/11 and promised to reschedule for Damita Jo and 20 Y.O., but those didn't happen. She did a bunch of promo in Europe for Damita Jo (London, Paris, Copenhagen, Barcelona, Milan, Amsterdam, Berlin I think) and limited promo for 20 Y.O. (London, Lille, Paris and Berlin). She did X Factor and Capitol FM in London in 2009, the WDIGM2 premiere and talk shows in London in 2010 and then a small 13 date leg in 2011 for Number Ones. Dublin, London (3 nights), Paris (2 nights plus a private gig in the Louvre), Copenhagen, Berlin, Oslo, Monte Carlo (2 nights) and Barcelona. Unbreakable had over 20 Europe shows canceled in 2016 due to pregnancy. More recently, she's only done London radio interviews and EMA's in Bilbao (2018), Glastonbury in London and Montreaux in Switzerland (2019). This year she interviewed with some London channels. Her and her team grossly underestimate her demand in Europe. Edited December 12, 2022 by kishi

LoveLiveMusic Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 She's playing Toronto 2 days after my birthday. I can't wait. She could've played an arena, especially being her only Canadian show.

I think the seating can be better in arenas...plus it might still be cold in Toronto, right?

I prefer arenas and getting the better lighting and environment I just feel you get that better intimacy, so it's why I've been hating that so many artists are doing stadiums and unless you're paying the bigger bucks you don't get the best view. Being in May it'll be warmer, but this venue is right beside the water so it just gets colder at night and then the show is rain or shine but like 95% of it is covered except the last few rows in the back section and then the lawn.
