UseYourIllusion2002 Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 people here are so weird i turned 20 four months ago and im the oldest in my grade since my birthday is in the beginning of the school year. i guess it’s bad for me to date someone a grade below me who’s still 18 even 21 isn’t weird that could be a junior in college dating a freshman depending on the birthday.
Dula Peep Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 If they are old enough to be the age of your biological father then it is weird… at any age really
coolblue Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 honestly fuvk the looney liberals and their propaganda... An 18 yr old is a legal age so anyone from 18 to 100 can date an 18 yr old.
Gaia Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 Dating? I’d say like 22. As people have said, anyone older really has nothing in common with an 18 year old. The maturity levels and where you are in life (if you have any sort of career) will be so vastly different. Sex? An 18 year old can sleep with whoever they want over the age of 18. They are not “children” and it’s not “pedophilia.” You can have your own opinion that someone 45 shouldn’t have sex with an 18 year old but for the love of GOD the worst thing about this chronically online generation is misusing words. An 18 year old is not a kid. That is not pedophilia.
Gorgeous Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 Being 18 is weird, you just left high school or are still in it but physically and on many levels you're an adult. But when 19 and 20 hit it feels like you've aged 5 years in only one.
Distantconstellation Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 A lot of you are stuck in the 90s way of thinking. A lot of 20-something don't have a career these day, hell most 30-somethings don't either so as usual atrl is wrong. Atrl thinks everyone goes to college and has a six figure paying job by 30 years old. Ya'll are delusional af.
Sombre Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 18 is a weird age because you're graduating high school and starting university. Someone who's 21+ is graduating university and probably either going to grad school or pursing a job. To me, it's weird if a 22 year old is dating an 18 year old cause what the hell do y'all have in common? It does get different when it's like 19 and 23 and 20 and 25, eventually where an age gap doesn't really matter.
JustHoran Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 I know someone 20 dating a 30 year old. It happens. Love is love. As long as you are of legal age, I see no problem with it personally.
Afterglow Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 Who really cares? If you do, then get a hobby.
infrared Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 Yes 26 dating an 18 is weird. I’d say max is 22 / 23.
Queen. Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 If you at the age of 18 anyone that is older than the 18 is acceptable. But myself I don't want to date anyone that is 4 years younger than me, unless they have more money
GentleEarthquake Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 25+ But I'm 19 and i wouldn't mind dating a guy who is 25+ years old. Some of yall are being ridiculous. Many who are in their 18s are emotionally mature to date someone 5 years older. Or at least in this continent.
Bacardo Royale Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 My fwb is 19 and what about it. If I didn't ask I would have thought he was mid 20s
Happylittlepunk Posted December 16, 2022 Posted December 16, 2022 25+ imo. I can’t see anyone at that age group have anything in common with a 18 year old.
BtDecember Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 For 18-19 years old -> 20-22 years old (2-4 years gap) I think when they hit 20, the gap can start to get wider (4-10 years). For instance: Current age > Ceiling 20-22 y/o -> 24-26 y/o (4-6 years gap) 23-25 y/o -> 28-32 y/o (5-7 years gap) 26-30 y/o -> 33-40 y/o (8-10 years gap) Or something like that. But of course, many other factors should be considered too, such as mental state, power balance, money, and social status.
