Too many unknowns have it where I'm from (I work with kids too so I'm hammered with it). SZA is more of disappointment than worst admittedly. 4 hours ago, ARTPØP said: Glad to see Dirt Femme getting a little love on your list Lo just does it. Pop perfection. 11 hours ago, TheWayWeWere said: Caprisongs and Renaissance one of my favorites this year as well I need to listen FLO asap tbh Crash and MUNA getting some love You won't regret it honestly. If you love Brandy, Destiny's Child, 702, Darkchild and Missy production for example... it's nostalgic but far from feeling dated or sampled.
Alldeezy Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 I really love replay Kimbra slayed with it. This is why

Remmy Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Bey and FLO killed it this year I really hope FLO keeps the quality coming because they came in HARD with their first ever release. CRASH, Harry's House and Dirt Femme getting some love same with MUNA They just never stop delivering edit~ oh you posted more on page 2 kiii Unconditional is so good Only just heard it 2 weeks ago after delaying my 1st listen to the deluxe. replay!, Waterfall, This Is Why, How Long - once again, so good! Was not expecting Kimbra to snap like that after the weak first single. Angel Baby Bliss is lovely. Grapefruit + Let Us Die Quote @Remmy Oh, and Adele was too formulaic/predictable (I'm sure this is always said). "Oh My God" and "My Little Love" do it for me though. Oop, not you dropping 2 out of my bottom 3 from 30 Even though I don't hate either track (the spoken parts of MLL are amazing, but the song itself is just alright. CYHO completes that trio.)
luckystrike Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Bliss, Shlut and Bites On My Neck truly highlights from their respective albums Grapefruit and How Long amazing, especially the latter delighted to see Angel Baby make an appearance, one of my top songs of 2021
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 Anyone for You is my mom's favorite song nnn and now i'm kinda liking it cause she always play it throughout the house Waterfall, King, Fossora and Shlut are all bop too
JGibson Posted December 13, 2022 Posted December 13, 2022 How Long + The Lightning II + This Is Why + King
TheWayWeWere Posted December 14, 2022 Posted December 14, 2022 Anything for You not my favorite off the album, but it's cute Waterfall nice to see it here, one of their best songs in a while Fossora (the song) SLAPS Don't Forget i'll never forget how she teased us again with no album coming again

Alex Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 Waterfall, Freaky Deaky, Vegas, How Long, Hot In It, All You Do
JGibson Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) + Die For You + Wet Dream
TheWayWeWere Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 Stay With Me issa bop Kind of Girl we love some pop country from girls Energy one of the standouts from album
TalkThatRihanna Posted December 17, 2022 Posted December 17, 2022 Die For You is great, and Energy really grew on me
MP2K Posted December 18, 2022 Author Posted December 18, 2022 (edited) 137. Lucky Daye - NWA (feat. Lil Durk) Lucky has been everywhere in 2022 and this is another one of many tracks he will have on my CD. One of his more fun/playful produced tracks. It’s breezy and both artists provide smooth verses. Favorite Bit: the tropical production 136. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Spitting Off the Edge of the World I haven’t been more moved by Yeah Yeah Yeahs since “Sacrilege” Favorite Bit: Perfume Genuis’ layered vocals 135. Steve Lacy – Mercury The ‘60s Brazilian bossa nova backbeats with the modern funk he’s leaned on for years. This sounds like it could fit somewhere between Outkast’s Stankonia and Idlewild. Favorite Bit: Eddie Kendrick’s Sample 134. beabadoobee – Talk Her most fun track yet. It perfectly blends indie pop and indie rock and gives a feel of these two genres that were popular in 00’s. Favorite Bit: The guitar works Edited December 18, 2022 by MP2K
MP2K Posted December 18, 2022 Author Posted December 18, 2022 (edited) 133. ROSALÍA – CANDY Love how this reggaeton and alternative r&b sounds with a softer tune about love and sexuality. Favorite Bit: Pre-Chorus & “No me has olvida'o, no me has olvida'o” 132. PinkPantheress - Where you are (feat. WILLOW) I was waiting a whole year for this to drop, and it did not disappoint. Love the contrast of their voices but they still convey the same emotion. Favorite Bit: "Now my lifе's a downward spiral, got my broken heart recycle” 131. Charli XCX – Beg for You (feat. Rina Sawayama) I envisioned a stronger collaboration from these two, the “Cry For You” as the foundation makes it memorable but a little lazy. The songs admittedly saved by its catchy garage drums and their chemistry. Favorite Bit: The garage drums 130. Beyoncé – I’M THAT GIRL One of Bey’s most subtle, unpredictable, experimental tracks and great opening track to let motherfuckers know you’re the queen and that you're about to take your fans on a ride. Favorite Bit: The intro and sample “Please, motherfuckers ain't stop—, please, motherfuckers” Edited December 18, 2022 by MP2K
MP2K Posted December 18, 2022 Author Posted December 18, 2022 129. 070 Shake – Body (feat. Christine and the Queens) Production starts off gentle then becomes explosive. Unexpected collaboration. Favorite Bit: The climatic production on its final chorus and adlib “Let me show you where my mouth is” 128. BANKS - Holding Back BANKS really took us to church here, very anthemic record. Favorite Bit: The background vocals on its chorus 127. Tobe Nwigwe - ROUND HERE (PART ONE) Tobe brings a fiery lyrical flow and defiant attitude to the rap game. I always think- Imagine if Lil Jon could rap, I mean really rap. Favorite Bit: The song structure and 1st verse 126. SZA – Shirt One of the most anticipated singles from her most anticipated album. Shirt has a mellow offering with potent lyrics and an urban knock. Favorite Bit: boomy drum break and glitchy hi-hats
TalkThatRihanna Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 Shirt is too low I fear Beg For You aged like crazy for me too, used it for a week
potent Posted December 18, 2022 Posted December 18, 2022 I LOVE Talk and Spitting Off... Wish they could've been higher, but I'm glad they made it. Shirt is really cute too.
ATRL Moderator Legend E Posted December 18, 2022 ATRL Moderator Posted December 18, 2022 I'm That Girl, Shirt, Kind of Girl, C'mon Baby, Cry the TASTE!
