Saddy Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 Top 10 "oldies but goldies" masterpieces Sooo, I decided to start with this top. Today I'll post only 5 songs and tomorrow the last 5 What is this top and what songs will be in this top? All songs are from artists I started listening to last December or this year. Release year: 1950-2020 Genre: Any genre
Saddy Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 #10. Pretty Boy by Janet Jackson Year: 1984 Genre: Pop, synth-pop & R&B I know that everyone is trying to ignore this album or even say it doesn't exist at all but I'm not gonna lie, this is the second album of hers that I listened to and I LOVED it, especially Pretty Boy. It's not the best song but it's cute, it even made me dance a little lol So, yeah, now you can start throwing tomatoes at me
Saddy Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 #9. Revenge by Groost Year: 2019 Genre: House, Chill, Dark Electro & EBSM I'm pretty sure I'm the only one here who has listened to this artist but maybe someone who's into dark electronic music might like this artist (or at least this song lol). When I listen to this song, I immediately imagine myself dancing in some club with a 90s gothic aesthetic. Idk why but I like it
Saddy Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 #8. Love To Love You Baby by Donna Summer Year: 1975 Genre: Euro disco Sexy, hot and mystical
Saddy Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 (edited) #7. Family Affair by Mary J. Blige Year: 2001 Genre: R&B/Soul Accidentally found this song and I'm glad it happened lol Edited December 10, 2022 by Saddy
Saddy Posted December 10, 2022 Author Posted December 10, 2022 #6. Smooth Operator by Sade Year: 1984 Genre: Smooth jazz, R&B/Soul, Sophisti-pop I found out about Sade thanks to ATRL, so thanks ATRL lol Immediately fell in love with Smooth Operator, this song is amazing. It's so soft, cute, I LOVE it

I'm not gonna lie, when I first heard this song, I had the feeling that it wasn't actually the first time I'd listened to it. Maybe I listened to it when I was a child, who knows
