This feels like the first MV released in the 2020s to get 1B views, I'm sure I'm forgetting some others but this is quite a feat on YT nowadays :rip:

I did some quick research on the matter. BTS' "Dynamite" and BLACKPINK's "How You Like That" both reached the 1B mark, but that's not surprising considering how k-pop fans are super invested in watching music videos (see underperformances like "Permission To Dance" and "Lovesick Girls" having significantly more views than Western smash hits like "positions", "Watermelon Sugar", "good 4 u", "Kiss Me More", "INDUSTRY BABY", and "Heat Waves" - with BLACKPINK's video having as many views as "STAY", "Blinding Lights", and "Levitating").

Bad Bunny's "DÁKITI" currently has around 1.2B views - the only 2020s video from a Latin artist to reach this mark as far as I'm aware (you could argue for KAROL G's "Tusa" and Black Eyed Peas + J Balvin's "RITMO", but they were both released in late 2019).

As far as Western songs in English go, the only other example I could find alongside "Save Your Tears" was "Life Is Good" by Future and Drake, which infamously managed to amass 2 billion views thanks to both a genuinely entertaining premise, but also because of an algorithm thing which led the music video being put as a default on autoplay, with many confused why YouTube kept recommending them this video regardless of the music they consumed.
