fountain Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 Power to the thieves tbh. I wish I had that courage!
Eric. Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 Poor it. All that whining over 1% "loss" in revenue. Aldi is slowly taking over anyway.

But what about clothes at stores though? The alarm goes off everytime you get them near those detectors but most clothes also only have the barcode on them? I've also never stolen anything before, but it's so easy where I am (in Canada). Even when the alarm goes off, no one does anything. I remember being at Walmart once and the alarm kept going off - for maybe 1 in every 3 people, but the security person was just sitting and chilling

Afterglow Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 Close them then. That company obviously is very similar to Chick-Fil-A as far as morals.

Most stores are afraid of liability, etc.
Relampago. Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 Screaming at this thread, imagine shilling for Walmart 1% This corrupt CEO can cry all he wants.
slik Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 The same Walmart CEO whose salary crept from $22.6 million in 2020 to $25.7 million last year.
Sugar-Rush Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 The meltdown over losing just 1% of their revenue.
Cryptique Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 (edited) not people acting like THEFT is okay.. these big companies are cry babies and clowns but THEFT will never be okay Edited December 11, 2022 by Cryptique

@michael Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 For all the people that have been stealing from Walmart, just know that once you get caught, they will go back through their security footage and use facial recognition to find every other time you’ve stolen from them. My friend had one charge of petty theft, and the DA was going to drop it, but then Walmart went and found 14 more times that she had stolen by using face recognition, and they charged her for each theft. So while you may think you’re “screwing” Walmart by stealing, they will end up screwing you ten times harder with court fines, lawyer fees, and restitution.
Vixen Eyes Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 imagine whining about loosing 1% of $3,000,000,000 to poor people who cant pay for anything

And it’s not like… a rare occurrence. It’s literally been well over 1.5 billion USD. In fact, major corporations on average steal 1.5-2 billion USD annually from workers in terms of wages and instead pay it out to investors (free labor). This happens annually. I think that they can spare it

THEFT WILL NEVER BE OKAY.. That's like saying it's okay for me to steal the materials in the job site because my company is not paying me enough

Inflation has outpaced wages yet profits are through the roof, meaning that corporations are responsible for the inflated prices and are stretching elasticity until people break next year
Vitaly Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 Some of y'all laughed now, but some of y'all will lose your job over this if they did closed stores. And some other would struggle to buy household items at neighborhood mom and pop stores that is not as cheap. And then what? Put it to the streets screaming bout Government injustice?

Self check out baby is the best way try do it Make sure nobody is looking love You've clearly never even tried to steal before The self-checkouts at Walmart are NOT easy to steal. It's surrounded by cameras and you WILL get caught at the self-checkout. I accidentally scan something too fast and I'm on camera with all the employees coming over.
Obsession Posted December 12, 2022 Posted December 12, 2022 So what I’m hearing is people should keep stealing.

There's dozens supermart chains in the US, and then there's dozens and dozens of variety store chains, food store, chains big and small, etc. etc. Don't worry, we should be fine without them.

Go steal a Louis Bag or a Tesla or an iphone. Then I'll believe you really care about billion dollar companies hurting the American worker. You don't steal those things because it's not easy. People here hating on Walmart baiting others to steel, while on their iphones is pure hypocrisy. Especially when Apple was selling iMacs that were made by child labor while Apple knew about it for three years. This whole thread is a joke. It's based on the hatred of the people who shop at Walmarts as much as it's based on Walmart. F_ck Walmart and the rest. If you don't like them don't shop there, but don't act all I'm better than you when, I say people shouldn't steal, when you are typing away on an iPhone. Edited December 12, 2022 by JustLikeHoney
