I remember when her husband was president and she was the First Lady lol

I can’t believe she lived Evita’s dream of going from First Lady to President.

See what happened to Menem

Menem was not in the government when he was sentenced. Today justice was served while she is still in power, this is a pretty historic moment.

And I don't mind her running again cause she will lose and that's how she has to be ended: People voting her OUT. FUERA LA CHORRA :gaycat1:

What I meant was that menem only spent 165 days in jail and then was part of the Senate. If you think this will have any repercusions in reality you're either too young or too naive

Menem was a disgrace. They could've taken his privileges but he was already too old and over.

Justice didn't have mercy on the most powerful politician in Argentina today. How come is that not remarkable? Even if she doesn't end up in jail this is still impressive. She'll be mentioned in history books as the corrupted politician she was/is.

Another corrupt communist.

The left has Argentina as the poorest country in latinamerica (after Venezuela, another communist hell). It was once one of the richiest countries in the world... the corruption really destroyed them.

This is a disgrace to democracy. Several due proccess protocols were broken to get to this point, in a blatant effort to keep her out of running again as they can't win with just the people's vote. Fraudulence is a must for them.

When Cristina's term ended Argentinians had the best minimum wages in the entire region, with a quite stable economy. It went downhill ever since the rightwingers won, and now we are centuries in debt with the IMF. By the way she is far away from communism, she strongly believes in capitalism

A disgrace to democracy is a president telling her lawyer to go hard on prosecutors that are investigating her for being a blatant CRIMINAL. That's what she does, remember Nisman?

There was no statistics during Cristina's last term, lol. She basically abolished them. Also, official dollar was restricted and a fiction. How did you get this stats? :toofunny3: Everything went downhill in 2019 when they won the primaries and came back. Enough with the lies.

Sure, everything went downhill in 2019. The previous 4 years with historic debt with the IMF most likely had nothing to do with it.

And there are similar leaked calls and texts from the judges on this cause at the moment, where they pretty much admit to orchestrating the entire thing.

Cristina may have made mistakes along the way, but she's still the person the people keep chosing. If you need to abolish her ability of being voted to win, you are perhaps not really winning but rigging it instead.

Only people allergic to history books would celebrate stuff like this

Anyways, this criminal is so corrupt that she will face 0 consequences and will keep murdering whoever gets in her way but at least everyone knows she's a criminal.

“Yes she is corrupt but there are also others…”. This narrative is so tired and it’s basically all you have left because it’s impossible deny.

Arguing with Kirchneristas is basically like talking with religious fanatics at this point.

She's the most important figure in Argentinian politics since Peron and Eva themselves. I can see why some people here would believe in proscription as the way to go since their candidates of preference are all disgraceful and would never win with the popular vote.
