It's different for every platform (cd, vinyl, spotify, AM, iTunes, Youtube etc.) The mark can vary a bit.

Im also so glad that she, for now, puts the country/cover album on shelf. I dont want another Nikki Land situation.

Her latest post with the billboard in Tulsa :bibliahh: Outside of me stanning her music I just get such a kick out of how consistently she delivers petty slightly deranged mess

the single grew on me a bit, but it’s still a bit too placid for me to really be in love with it. idk i’m sure i’ll love it in the context of the album

can’t wait for the album though, hopefully it’s more NFR! and less COCC

I guess it's now starting to make sense why the last two albums sounded the way they did and she chose not to spend more time on them. Her mind was on something else and it seems like she was healing over this big breakup from early 2020. It definitely felt like something shifted in her for me after that and it wasn't just because it was the beginning of the pandemic.

What I am curious about is the 2nd half of the album weaker than the first half?

With an album of 16 tracks and a running time of almost 80 minutes, things can get a bit much towards the end, if you don't serve qualiteé.

I'm a bit afraid of this as well. Chemtrails and BB suffer from this problem.

We will need to revisit this livestream after the album is out. Even though she did it for BB release day, I feel like she revealed more about what she was writing and thinking about on the next album.

She also has the tendency (like most artists) to put the best tracks first and sometimes it's the mid section or the last section of the album that can be a bit meh.

The fact that the cop was the catalyst for almost all of her problems in the last 2 years and the reason COCC/BB turned out the way they did :gaycat7:

I don't care if it is the cop or somebody or something else, I just hope she gets it out of her system.

Also will Ava Max finish Lana with her new album? Discuss.

Isabel Larosa already finished the job with her superior West Coast ripoff and self-directed music video

Check the 9:06 mark:

So snippets of Fingertips/Candy Necklace and Ocean Blvd were already out there in Sep? How did we not know about this? :deadbanana2:

We say ACAB for a reason :gaycat7:

But at least we got some really strong material out of it.

The way she was revealing actual lines, she really just drops her own insider info without drawing attention to it :deadbanana2:

the way she perfectly explains qftc in a mature reflective way admitting she was wrong but it still felt right for her to express that... she has always been one step ahead even with her badly worded trump takes... her understanding of the narcissism plaguing the culture and politics and how he was a mirror held up to the society and our self centeredness and he needed to happen to show us that... and her knowledge on the human psyche and how we repeat our unconscious patterns... and she was able to articulate all that beautifully and gracefully on camera off painkillers and after she worked through her rage and grief :jonny3:

I've seen so many articles talking about what led up to the Jan 6th attack and they essentially talk about the same things she said in the BBC interview when people took one sentence and spun it out of control like they've always done with her interviews. Her stance on certain things always gets her in hot water but honestly it gets revealed years later that she was pretty on-point in her observations. People just don't want to hear it from her because her brand isn't the most PC-friendly.

The backlash on her speaking up this time probably forced her to turn inward entirely but maybe it was for the best because it seems like there is a lot of family trauma that she's only begun getting out that we never explicitly heard in her earlier albums. When it's all said and done, I suspect 2020s LDR might be the most superior after all.
