And it should be said and known.

I don’t mean to be rude (and I know she’s doing better than ever commercially and image-wise) but I think that I’m literally getting over her :psyduck: I used to listen to only her nonstop every day and I’m really exploring a lot of new music and not even missing Lana or hyped at the possibility of her coming again, which is so weird compared to the last 3 eras. I also don’t replay DYK like at all, which I don’t think it’s a bad album whatsoever but it really doesn’t flow the most smoothly, tempo, pacing or sound wise, and there aren’t really those classic Lana songs on it (aside from title track, A&W, and The Grants, which I’ve replayed into oblivion). I just think, there’s only so long you can blatantly act like you don’t care for your career, not put out visuals, not promote, and expect people to still be checking for you?

I've been abusing the replay button for Born to Die and now I am getting bored so I better stop. I don't want to lose the sensation that I normally receive while listening to this music.

Tunnel must have great pure sales because it's out charting NFR despite making less streams. I kinda miss the pure sales era, everything was more legitimate and more impressive.

However streaming is cheaper and more convenient for me and the fact that you're supporting the product while listening to the song is a great feeling, especially if it is a non single track.

Tunnel has more streams in the US than NFR. Outside of the first two weeks and the titty vinyl release, it's not selling much. Well, hardly any album is unless you are Taylor

There was definitely a shift for me after Chemtrails... I share the same sentiments regarding DYK, and if anything, I have been consistently listening to everything from NFR and earlier. There's just something not as enticing in the recent releases tbh.

Anyway, after attending a recent Lana concert where  I had to unfortunately witness first hand what her fandom consists of, I’m happy to know in the end, a big portion of those idiots will eventually move on like some of the testimonies here show.

thanks for sharing.

Tunnel is now her best streaming album since NFR.

Chartmasters:

Tunnel - 604K album units from streaming

BB- 603K album units from streaming

Chemtrails - 514k

It is a little bit off in Spotify but it will catch within some weeks.

It was a decent pure album seller when looking to US and UK, her biggest markets. I hope it has done over 375K, enough to outsell Chemtrails in pure sales.

I also don't mean to be rude, but don't you think listening to one artist "nonstop every day" may also have an effect on your enjoyment? I would get so sick of an artist if I only listened to them.

But Tunnel is also my favorite Lana album, and I don't care about visuals and promotion at all, so maybe I'm biased.

moving on from artists is totally normal. tastes change, etc. the thing i don't really follow is the last line. that's how 99% of musicians operate - release music, tour, thats it. do you expect lana to like open the VMAs or something lol

I’ve been a stan since 2011, and I’m seeing her this fall as well :eddie: I was literally just making a throwaway post about how I’m currently randomly feeling (which will most likely end whenever she puts something else out) and the typical bored obssessed, chronically online, lanaboards-conditioned, hive mind, tik tok fan, bird brains (including you) come attacking :fan: log out and click “lanaboards.com” pls if you want to not allow someone to have an opinion :biblio:

@ontherocks darling maybe you should find something productive to do with your time other than to react to every single one of my posts. Haven’t you and those 3 other users you’re friends with wasted enough energy on me (for years I might add?) :heart2:

Maybe you shouldn't be complaining this much. Or saying to others that their responses are "worms for brains", that they are "losers" etc. That would be a good start to actually communicate with others.

Why are you so bothered? Why not enjoying your time with all the new discoveries you've made?

Have a nice day. Bless your heart.

If you or @VeniceBeach or anyone else for that matter have a problem with, or don’t like seeing my posts it’s a very easy fix to block or mute me, dear. I don’t understand why you don’t do that already with how pressed you seem to get over me
