I don’t care really for Flops at Sea, but Grammywood Bowl is folk excellence, and peak Lana :clap3:

I’ve got a swimming pool,

I like to float on the surface and

Think of the stories

I’ve already sold…

I forget if it was her or her father, but one of them stated he would be incorporated in the shows somehow before she started touring. Either as an opener or they would play together on stage… instead he’s recording crappy low quality IG lives through a potato camera from backstage…

Because she faced so many cancellations way before cancel culture was even a thing, she honestly has an immunity to it now :gaycat6:

Oh yeah, airplay just contributes to Hot 100 but it definitely helps keep the songs on streaming playlists and encourages people to stream/buy the album. The fact that her albums can return to the BB200 even though they were never these huge, promoted Top 40 smashes will never not be impressive.

Very true. Kind of surprising she was never pushed on Alt radio, but we know that Interscope is not into payola.

Anyways, where are the tourdates?

I hope the boxscores for London, Mexico City and Amsterdam get released

Just popping in to day Fingertips is lowkey her best song

NFR is very likely going to rechart on Billboard 200. It's still top 120 in Apple Music.

@NOW is it typical for BTD to enter Apple Music US top 100? Since it peaked #91 several days ago, it is also reached it's highest Spotify weekly streams ever this week, so maybe a 2020s repeak for BTD is probable.   We only need pure sales to back it.

Wait a second. omg, why am I Just now realizing...

When I was fifteen, naked, next-door neighbors did a drive-by
Pulled me up by my waist, long hair to the beach side
I wanted to go out like you, swim with the fishes
That he caught on Rhode Island beaches
But, sometimes, it's just not your time

2012 (2 albums)-2014-2015-2017-2019

2021 (2 albums)-2023-2026?-2028?-2030?

she’s releasing all the final digit years she skipped last decade, so LDR10 coming 2026? :monkey:

I always thought they should've just continued to push her on Alt/Hot AC radio instead of cancelling all other radio/tv promo plans after SNL. Video Games never had a real chance to take off in the US.

BTD will definitely repeak higher this year if its current streaming numbers hold. It usually gets a pure sales boost during the holidays.

NFR! could very well return on its own...Miguel's album is currently at #200 and NFR! does similar #s on Spotify US while his album isn't even charting on Apple US.

They fumbled the bag so badly with SYTH. Ik it's still pulling cute numbers daily and it recently reached a new peak on Rock/Alt radio but it could have been much bigger if they actually moved earlier and bothered to send it to Pop. A wasted 1B smasha. I should know better at this point but Interscope keeps disappointing :gaycat6:

It's truly a shame how little they care. It's amazing how great she's doing regardless.

True, but you need to create some sort of momentum for new material. I know that they don't care which song or album brings in the money, but more effort on their side would be much appreciated

Yeah I really don't understand their strategy (assuming one even exists). OB is fighting for its dear life and doing pretty well considering the absolute lack of any push on streaming services or radio. The start of the era was very promising. Thank god the material is really strong this time.

I know, it's almost pointless to even talk about it. They pretty much allow her whatever she wants to do, cause it does appeal to a lot of ppl, in return they kinda refuse push anything. The playlisting this time around was better, much better, but I think that comes more from Spotify itself, cause they can't ignore her appeal anymore.

Also, since Jack did that thing with Mix With The Masters breaking down the production of A&W, I've been wondering if they will maybe try and push A&W for SOTY? Who knows it might actually pull a NFR! (s) and sneak in lol. We know Lana herself won't be campaigning for sure, but I'm just hoping for some noms.

Indeed she is becoming one of the biggest streaming acts ever, not just among alt artists so the Spotify curators have to throw her some crumbs :dies:

I know and it's kinda insane. So remarkable and I can't wait for her to crash the Chattanooga fare soon

I just saw the free-styled part of PWYC in Mexico. The power they have :jonny5:

"...I've got much more than that: like my memories, shows in stadiums down in Mexico"

"...more than that: friends in Mexico, tours in stadiums... * inaudible because of how loud the stadium got * :dies:

Well, the two day grace period for announcing your dates is up…

What was Lana thinking when scrapping SYTH or Serial Killer from her albums? I am sure she could've replaced some of her mediocre songs with those 2.
