Let the light In is kinda The Greatest of the album.

It has sorta grown into my second fave Lana’s album - poor UV :superman:

Imagine if Blue Bamister and Chemtrail never happened, and she just released this right after NORMAN :giraffe:

I think that the album is actually not that far away from Gold in the UK, New Zealand and Germany. In the UK she must be at around 90k already.

They're starting to take down more random unreleased songs not just on Youtube but Soundcloud now too. The interesting thing is the album mentioned under the copyright strikes from UMG...

It’s not her highest charting lol

I am not a huge fan of this project, if there is one to begin with .

First of all, I am interested in new material. I wanna see where she's going and not which songs didn't make the cut back in the day. And then we also have these songs that may end up on such a release for many, many years now. It's boring.

I'm not too crazy about the unreleased songs but there are a few reasons that benefits her to put these songs out now just from a business standpoint: Her unreleased catalog is more relevant today than it's ever been and doing so would finally put an end to the constant need to take down the tracks across all streaming platforms. I wonder how many people have already made money off of illegally uploading her tracks. I don't think it hurts or distracts from any of her current releases either like we've seen with Taylor Swift doing the same thing for Lover a few months ago.

I'd also love to see what she decided to put out there because she's more likely to sign off on something like Hollywood over Jealous Girl but we might be very surprised what that final list ends up being. I'd personally love if she did a release consisting of initial song mixes and demos of songs we already have because stuff like the LFL or Pink Champagne demos are crazy.

AKA is for sure coming at some point though:

I meant before the most recent album came out. I would've thought NFR or Born to Die would've been more commercially successful than Honeymoon. I thought her fans hated that one.

Girl, you’re still not getting it.
honeymoon is on 6th place. Both NFR and Born to Die charted longer than Honeymon hence they are more successful.

“Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd” now ties “Honeymoon” as Lana Del Rey's 6th longest-charting project on Billboard 200. (17 weeks

i don't think we have to worry about Lana not releasing more new material. she's literally the most prolific artist out there after Taylor Swift herself.

maybe she'll go the Taylor's Version route or another BB situation, new music is definitely coming.

anyway, when she finally releases A.K.A. and it washes Ocean Blvd off the charts, then what? :coffee2:

Lana never wanted the unreleased tracks to be out there. The only reason I can think of is that maybe she intend on including some of these unreleased tracks in her next record, like BB and COCC.

It would be convenient to have all her unreleased material on streaming tho

The way we’ve had 3 albums in the last 3 years and there’s still so much to unpack in each of them… and yet we all still want more :WAP: her power

We know how lazy and personally averse to mainstream success she is, so maybe her putting out an Unreleased Collection is her giving something to her team to go full out pop girl promo on while she continues to make the music she wants to make at the moment :giraffe:putting out unreleased material worked well for Taylor, and Lana's unreleased catalogue is definitely way more prolific and so many songs go viral randomly, so why not take advantage of that

Well it's over

Hoping this sticks it out for 3 more weeks on BB200 so it gets 20 total. I don’t care if it drops out and re-enters, but it would be cute if it gets there eventually. It’s already done much better than COCC/BB’s 5 weeks :rip:
