So now matter how you slice it, her NFR 2.0 is coming with her next album:

(if you count Paradise as an “album” then the pattern works for every 4 albums): 1, 5, 9. BTD = LFL = DYTTATUOB (hip hop influenced songs on the album [with inverse album covers / album titles for BTD / LFL]. No cover songs on these albums and they are widely seen as introducing a new era / watershed moments in Lana’s artistry) 2, 6, 10. Paradise = NFR = LDR10 (cohesive, critically acclaimed, fan favorite album with blue-ish album cover with water featured on it. Cover song is track five) 3, 7. Ultraviolence = Chemtrails (Black & white album cover, 11 track standard edition, slightly polarizing among fans, indicates change in direction in sound, dark subject matter, cover song closes the album) 4, 8. Honeymoon = Blue Banisters (more artistic and more of a vanity project, very casual listening experience / little promotion. VERY polarizing among fans who either love it or hate it. album cover is also casual, with Lana looking neither happy nor sad on it, moreso bored. Also a bit of a companion album to the one that came before it)

(If you don’t count paradise as an “album” then the pattern still works for every 4 albums): 1, 5, 9. BTD = NFR! = “LDR10” (beginning of a new era, widely recognized as influential in culture by critics, whole new sound for Lana, and seen as one of her iconic albums) 2, 6. UV = Chemtrails (same reasons as in previous section 3, 7. HM = BB (same reasons as previous section 4, 8. LFL = DYK (transition album, saying goodbye to old sound while sort of introducing the new one, seen as a bit polarizing by fans and critics but overall positive reception, hip hop influences, eclectic sound, and 16 tracks total)

catch my drift? Either way, this next album is going to be huge and the beginning of a new era :duca:

:rip:

But I'm really excited to hear what the next album will sound like too. I think she reached new ground on DYK, and it'll be fun to see what she follows it up with, especially with TCxVB closing the album.

Not her score weighted down to 80. Critics are trash to her.

What I find even crazier than this album only being an 80 on MC is the fact that NFR isn’t a ******* 90+ on MC. That album is constantly worshipped to the high heavens and even THEN, it couldn’t even get a 90+ while albums like SOS (which I love but should 100% be no higher than a 78) get 94+ :gaycat6:
