Just ordered my Ocean Blvd Uncensored Areola Vinyl from

her site :gaygacat5:

The way this variant will be going for $1k+ like 20 years from now

Also, the fact that the tracklist on this pressing doesn’t have the Judah Smith Interlude :gaygacat5: it was literally made for me!

I'm scared that I will overplay "Peppers" so much that I will ruin it for myself but I'm actually enjoying it even more :jonny:

Lana Croft did that :jonny5:

I haven’t listened to the interludes a single time but Jon Batiste slayed Candy Necklace and when this album wins album of the year we have him to thank

When two interludes get a music video and the lead single doesn’t… sounds like quintessential Lana tbh

Where’s the inner sleeve? I would like to see it :matty:

And idk anything about this Judah person, but I like that the production flows right into Candy Necklace. That almost fast paced playing of the piano is used in Candy Necklace and that moment where it starts to get really eerie and speeds up like the pivotal moment in a suspenseful thriller >>> :jonny5:

Not gonna lie, the instrumental is BEAUTIFUL, like really beautiful and so eerie it's so good. But his talking voice is so loud and it hurts the ear and I have to turn the volume down. I wish we can have the instrumental without that yelling.

The Interludes are not that bad, you gays are kind of being annoying. I don’t go out of my way to listen to either of them, but when I play the whole album I don’t skip them bc that is the way Lana meant for the album to be played and they make sense in the melodic narrative. Judah Smith (if you ignore the religious bs, which tbh why would you even have to? Religion has always been an element of Lana’s discography) just reminds me of the Violet Bent Backwards atmospheric speaking tracks, and Jon Batiste’s is actually genuinely pleasant to hear (I just wish there was more of Lana singing and less laughing/talking)

The Jon Batiste one is def really good and deserves a spot, same goes with the instrumental of Judah Smith interlude.

So now matter how you slice it, her NFR 2.0 is coming with her next album:

(if you count Paradise as an “album” then the pattern works for every 4 albums): 1, 5, 9. BTD = LFL = DYTTATUOB (hip hop influenced songs on the album [with inverse album covers / album titles for BTD / LFL]. No cover songs on these albums and they are widely seen as introducing a new era / watershed moments in Lana’s artistry) 2, 6, 10. Paradise = NFR = LDR10 (cohesive, critically acclaimed, fan favorite album with blue-ish album cover with water featured on it. Cover song is track five) 3, 7. Ultraviolence = Chemtrails (Black & white album cover, 11 track standard edition, slightly polarizing among fans, indicates change in direction in sound, dark subject matter, cover song closes the album) 4, 8. Honeymoon = Blue Banisters (more artistic and more of a vanity project, very casual listening experience / little promotion. VERY polarizing among fans who either love it or hate it. album cover is also casual, with Lana looking neither happy nor sad on it, moreso bored. Also a bit of a companion album to the one that came before it)

(If you don’t count paradise as an “album” then the pattern still works for every 4 albums): 1, 5, 9. BTD = NFR! = “LDR10” (beginning of a new era, widely recognized as influential in culture by critics, whole new sound for Lana, and seen as one of her iconic albums) 2, 6. UV = Chemtrails (same reasons as in previous section 3, 7. HM = BB (same reasons as previous section 4, 8. LFL = DYK (transition album, saying goodbye to old sound while sort of introducing the new one, seen as a bit polarizing by fans and critics but overall positive reception, hip hop influences, eclectic sound, and 16 tracks total)

catch my drift? Either way, this next album is going to be huge and the beginning of a new era :duca:
