She's positioned to be a Grammy nominee again but they need to keep the momentum going and push for hits even if it's just to ALT/AAA stations. I won't be mad if they keep it lowkey though because that's the norm and all her albums get their moments years later...ex. Cinnamon Girl smashing and outstreaming all the new songs except A&W and P,T is kinda funny. Oh yeah and Say Yes to Heaven is coming soon, maybe that's her surprise smash of the decade Also just came across this old spotify playlist. I knew she was a Lana stan but a Honeymoon stan as well...ok we see you Melanie Boobs on the cover and three additional tracks, ditching the interludes

I'd still love to see Let the Light In getting some love, it's so refreshing to hear her put out a straight-forward pop song every once in a while.

I'd like that too if I was him, cause that would mean more videos=more money. I wouldn't really interpret anything into it.

I knew she was a Lana stan but a Honeymoon stan as well...ok we see you Melanie Yeah I remember us fuming at them ignoring Doin' Time for a long time back in 2019 as well. Granted the "push" came eventually but they still refused to promote it to Pop radio or add it to big playlists. It's always like this with them. Ngl I'm still gonna be pressed if when SYTH overshadows this entire album. I do love the song but I truly never understood this huge hype around it. I was a Melanie fan back in 2015-2016 and wbk she's a Liddo Lanita just like us
WildAmerican Posted April 9, 2023 Posted April 9, 2023 Don't you dare say That you'll braid my hair, babe If you don't really care You wanted me sadder...
brooklyndaddy Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 I'd rather 15 more "low effort" eras from her than 3 more high budget burnout inducing "career peaks". As long as the music is quality, idgaf
Roberto Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Don't forget to participate in the album survivor, I'll be updating R2 this next week. And then, updates every 7-10 days.

Big Bad Wolf Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Fishtail is the bop of the album for me. Lately I’ve been sunnin in the LA riverbed Wearin nothin but the summer bruises on my knees I like how you talk, how you speak, how you’re lovin me
bluevelvetcrowbar Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 I removed Fishtail and the pastor interlude and then put Peppers and Taco Truck elsewhere so the album ends on Margaret the way its lowkey a better listening experience teehee
hétérosexuelle Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Daddy John Misty and Lana ate on Let The SMASH In plz

THIS ******* breaks me and makes me pause the track to gather myself cause Hope is a dangerous thing for a gay like me to have — but I have it Edited April 10, 2023 by hétérosexuelle
Venice B Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Don't expect anything from Interscope guys. Remember when Doin' Time was shaping up to be a summer hit and they literally did nothing? Like, ZERO stuff. No playlists. They didn't even send the song to pop radios. I still fume thinking about it
Abracadabra Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 Where are the tour dates we need the damn tour dates
Big Bad Wolf Posted April 10, 2023 Posted April 10, 2023 (edited) Imagine slandering Let The Light In I’ll pray for y’all. Edited April 10, 2023 by Big Bad Wolf
