I like Arcadia. But it’s not my favorite.

I wonder how many bad songs we'll end up getting :rip:

These last few pages of insider tea and insider sparring are sending me :gaycat6:

Um but it sounds like her best song is coming yet again. Somehow she always stays there!

If A&W is that good I'd love to have that song as the second single but Miss Del Rey isn't the best at picking promo songs... Looking at you LMLY

Idk Arcadia is an example of a track where piano is actually obnoxious. Also her vocals are so weirdly isolated it sounds like we're listening to raw mic feed from random performance. It also goes nowhere

taste is subjective :giraffe:

Arcadia is a bit too adult contemporary’d for me

It’s a pretty song but like…I’ll listen once a year and that’s good.

the writing and melodies are top notch! in the composition department the song is 5/5... didn't expect much more than that on any part of BB anyways

Arcadia is pleasant and pretty but kind of meanders too long. Tunnel is longer and yet it feels shorter and is more enjoyable. Where is Arcadia’s buildup? BB but with Jack cleaning everything up at the end would have probably been just a tier below NFR!

Not the insiders fighting again :deadbanana4:

Pls don't make BOZ leave the forum cuz he's the only insider that gave light to me and like other three users about the album my fav released back in January

This! I think the verses are much more tasteful than the chorus itself too. The latter gives Disney Princess lyrics and melody :giraffe:

The Arcadia praising still somehow the craziest thing I've seen on the last 3 pages:bibliahh:

Tbh she should have just dropped the entire album at once, this is a full experience, not some single by single ****  She has fanbase and attention to pull a surprise release, hope she does it next time

I see how Arcadia would be divisive

I get that impression, too

For what it’s worth - the title track has been one hell of an intro to this album. I feel like we’re going DEEP DEEP.

And I just read that Sean Larkin got married to a new girl while she was writing the album, so… :jonny:

“My body is a map of LA” sounds like it works really well as a poem like she mentioned it started from, so hopefully she still has it and plans to show us someday

@BlackoutZone Is there any chance the title track is longer/extended on the album itself or do I need to go touch grass

@BlackoutZone Do you know if there are plans for the title track to get sent to radio? Apparently there's a clean edit where she sings "Love me to death" and the song was added to a bunch of pop playlists usually reserved for Top 40 radio hits.
