Like i said it’s not that I don’t like them its that I don’t care for them. I’ve heard her do that type of sound (you know disney traditional pop Lana) too many times to really come back to songs like Grants
Blue Jeans Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Still trying to connect with Fingertips and Kinstugi. Maybe because they lack a clear chorus and melody and have cryptic lyrics

the good guy_duh Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Let The Light In is the best song on the album along with A&W
UnusualBoy Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Fishtail is that song, the chorus takes it to another level
G.U.Y_Del_Rey Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Certain production elements in Margaret remind me of Taylor's this is me trying.

SweetTalker Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Finally had time to play my vinyl a couple of times, anddd it’s not even in her Top 3 albums I could do without the entirety of Side B. The first time I played the album I wanted to stop after Side B anyway. Still a cute girl. Feels like a mixture of the past 3 albums without an evolution or new highs. Paris, TX Let The Light In Fishtail my top 3.

"that’s how the light gets in" is a "hook" and/or the daddy i miss them part (depends on what you consider a hook/chorus) and has a clear melody throughout the song idk what y’all are listening to but…

stjosephprey4us Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Okay so I finally have an album ranking. In terms of best to worst albums (vocals, production, theme, lyrics, narrative, etc.): 1. Norman (overall job well done) 2. BTD (literally worked on over and over until perfect) 3. Paradise (very solid and tight production) 4. Tunnel (mixing issues and too many samples) 5. Chemtrails (too short) 6. Lust for Life (not a lot of passion in it) 7. Honeymoon (unclear narrative) 8. Ultraviolence (repetitive choruses) 9. Blue Banisters (YouTube to mp3) in terms of my favorites (most to least) at this moment in time: 1. Tunnel 2. Blue Banisters 3. Chemtrails 4. Norman 5. Ultraviolence 6. Honeymoon 7. Paradise 8. Born to Die 9. Lust for Life
Big Bad Wolf Posted March 28, 2023 Posted March 28, 2023 Kintsugi is literally a perfectly crafted masterpiece. Before you come on here to slander it, breathe, drink some water and really listen to the song a few times to pick up on the flow and melodies. The song is brilliant.
