by no means is Paris a bad song but I'm genuinely surprised it's such a fan favorite, in my opinion it's the weakest ballad on the album :rip: Grandfather, Let the Light In, and Kintsugi are literally right there

The album has now surpassed 100M streams making it her fastest album to do so.

i think it's a gp fave more than a fan fave. it's a sweet, simple, traditional song while also feeling fresh for lana.

i fear the genius of songs like grandfather and fingertips is tew much...

Judah Smith interlude production is beautiful

my friend hasn’t given the full album a listen yet, but he told me today how obsessed he is with paris, texas. i don’t understand. i mean it’s in my top 3, but it’s also just an album track! did they push it on playlists or is it just taste and word of mouth?

It’s TikTok. It’s gained the most traction there and the Coraline/Amelie correlation is a talking point :gaygacat7:

Paris, Texas is simple, but effective. The melody is great and Lana's vocals serve something new from her.

I agree

To this day I don't understand why they replaced the Rob Orton mix of West Coast with the album version mix. The average listener wouldn't know the difference, but the chorus of the original single mix is just so much better...so hypnotic

What a collapse the sped up version is, this was MADE for Tiktok

GODsugi is the kinda the best song on the album :celestial5:

Not the Little Anals screaming for Grandpa Nowels again with his "profound skills when it comes to trap beats". It makes me wonder if they have never heard LFL, especially IMF and Cockchella or Groupie Love.

Good lordT

Which songs from this album do y'all think she'll perform at her shows? (if at all since on the NFR tour she'd rather play Change/Black Beauty/Young and Beautiful/Ride medley when Cinnamon Girl, MAC, The Greatest, HIAB were right there :rip:)

It's going to be interesting to see if she'll perform songs from COCC/BB too

I think CN is rather an easy one for her to pull off. It reminds me a bit of Body Electric.

Tunnel maybe. She said that the background singers will be with her. They should be a nice addition when Lana gets bored of singing in the middle of a song :skull:

Personally CN is not one of my faves. It doesn't really excite me. A video for Paris, Texas would have been a better choice, imo.

For festivals she won't do too much new stuff post NFR! The festival crowd is more for the familar songs. The easy crowd pleasers from BTD will be the main focus.

I hope she at least does a NA tour in big theaters and heavily performs songs from the last four albums. That would make fans happy.

tunnel, definitely! and then maybe taco truck x vb, to get vb on the setlist and still cater to the new album. if we get lucky she'll pull out two more new songs. but i predict it'll be something like

Spoiler

1. tunnel

2. tunnel album track (candy necklace?)

3. btd track

4. uv track

5. nfr track

6. weird fan fav or cover

7. prob cover

8. cover or btd track

9. tunnel album track (A&W? but probably not A&W because she never plays good songs)

10. bb track

11. cocc track

12. cocc track

13. btd track

14. btd track

15. btd track

16. taco truck x vb (actually maybe only once and then end every show after that with OTTR or something)

100% agreed. West Coast is a 10 regardless, but the Rob Orton Mix truly outsold….

The average an artist gets from Spotify is 0,004 Dollars per stream. In two days she made over 250k just from Spotify
