That one user coming in here with the most clinical-style review ever. Girl, we don’t care. If you liked so little of the album, why waste your time doing a track-by-track breakdown of it? Go for a walk, loves!

The way the Fingertips chorus was on repeat in my head every time I woke up in the middle of this night whew, that’s a classic! oprah winfrey GIF

sweet is fillerish. not bad tho

CN just sounds familiar

i like the interludes... they kinda make the album :lakitu:

the vb part of taco truck is so unnecessary :deadbanana4: literally making both a little worse.

kintsugi has grown on me a bit but her delivery of the kintsugi line is :rip:

fingertips, grandfather, and LTLI and great :alexz:

just went on a walk with NFR, COCC, BB and TUOB all on shuffle

I feel so blessed knowing I'll always have that music in my life :gaycat6:

This album feels like it requires time and multiple listens to really digest and pick up some of the slower melodies. I loved the interludes. I loved the VB remix, Lana can do whatever she wants! Remix a song from 3 albums ago!

Why is there no thread in Charts for the first day Spotify streams?

Margaret is beautiful, but the Bleachers/Jack Antonoff is a chop. The feature weighs the song down a bit for me.

Judah Smith interlude is kinda hitting today?? :deadbanana2:

Is the LA river bed full and moist, or is it dry and crusty ?

Spoken word interludes can be hit or miss but the Judah Smith Interlude is so brilliant. The sparse and brooding instrumentation reminds me of a section of an early Godspeed You! black Emporer record :jonnycat:

Every once in a while, either fans or critics or both get bored and start some boring ass backlash against her music. Nothing wrong with disliking any of her or anyone's albums, it's all subjective, but when you see their arguments, most of them are just grasping at the straws. Some of the things they are saying straight up sound like they are forcing themselves to dislike it :rip:

You spoke the truth. :lmao: It’s a polarizing album, sure, but people are absolutely writing it off within 24 hours. It’s honestly embarrassing to witness…

the first few songs sound like every lana song ever, especially the title track :rip: literally just Blue Banisters with some orchestral outros, no artistic growth

I’m sort of happy the Judah Interlude has some stans in a panic, though. They can break down and rage online all they want about it - Lana put it on her album because she wanted to. If this interlude and this album is what pushes some stans away from her, I’m sure she’s lowkey thrilled. Continuing the filtration system initially started by UV. :clap3:

??? You actually negated your point within your own reply, but definitely vent if you need to.

how so, the first four songs sound like everything she's done before and then a pointless 5m interlude :rip:

It never fails someone wanting an EP over a full album. Seriously, this a magnificent project, stop with the EP nonsense

Yuck. I will always take a full album over an EP. It’s just a sign of how the TikTokification of the world is taking over.

If I were to edit the album, I’d just cut the interludes. I don’t skip them, but I’ve generally never been a fan of interludes, anyway. At this point in her career, with how prolific she is, I think she’s earned the right to have an “indulgent” album here and there. :lmao:

Girl, he's been posting that every Lana album sounds the same since BTD. For every album. She can do japanese tribal speed metal hardcore techno and he would still post the same.

Needless to say that he stans K Pop acts while talking about every song sounding the same and artistic growth with no irony whatsoever :skull:

Lana Del Rey sounding like Lana Del Rey. A shocking concept

I get people get offended by stupid and nonsensical criticism (like quick judgement after like only 24 hours) by some members or critics. But some stans also take it too seriously tho, people are allowed to have wrong opinions. Both sides need to chill.
