LTLI and Margot are so buttery smooth. Kuntpussy and fingertits are magnificent  lyrically but have low replay value. There I said it.

They are definitely patient listens, but they have tons of replay value.

You get it

Think by the third of March, I was cracked open
Finally, the ground was cold, they wouldn't open
Brought by the sunlight of the spirit to pour into me
There's a name for it in Japanese, it's "Kintsugi"

to me Kuntbussi and Fingermyslit just kinda fly by so it's not a chore to listen to them. but then again i tend to listen to the album as a whole most of the time :clap3:

Unfortunately, this album isn't it. I only enjoyed 2 songs. I prefer Blue Banisters more

I wish Taco Truck is longer :cries: it's too short to the point I dont want VB to start....

This is the weirdest album she’s ever done that’s for sure

This. As a hardcore Lana time I think I am finding a quite hard time to digest this album. I am sure it's a grower not an instant listen anyways.

Apparently Taylor performed Snow on the Beach at her show tonight and mentioned Lana’s new album/how great it is. We love promo!

My favorite song on the album has changed so many times already. At first it was A&W, then The Grants, then Grandfather, then Candy Necklace and now I think it might be Fingertips. I think it's because every song on the album has a purpose so it doesn't feel like there's just one highlight, it's all one big highlight.

Okay so after second listen, a little review:

1. The Grants: I have no problem with the intro, it's just it doesn't connect well with the song, or the transition is awkward. The song itself, it's fine, grew on me but not sure it's something I'd go back to intentionally.

2. DYKTTATUOB: It grew on me but I can't help but think it's something she has already done. I like the desperation of it but Blue Banisters is more touching.

3. Sweet: Cute but zzz.

4. A&W: Great song. The second half remains cringe but we can vibe to it.

5. Judah Smith Interlude: It'd work amazingly if shortened to a minute max. It loses artistic value once you get to the giggles and whispering and "yup, yup"s.

6. Candy Necklace: It's quite hypnotizing, strong UV vibes (but nowhere near UV's excellence).

7. Jon Baptiste Interlude: As an actual interlude it'd be great, no one's here for studio "footage" made songs that long.

8. Kintsugi: One of the most beautiful melodies she's made in here. Not all through the song, but they are there and touch right in the heart.

9. Fingertips: First listen I was like "this is going for way too long". Don't want to say it's not good (especially since I already forgot how it goes again) but yep, skip material it seems.

10. Paris, Texas: Great song. The production reminds me of a Billie song (Everything I Wanted?), but I think this is the one that uses one of the samples, so whatever.

11. Grandfather: Not crazy about it. Maybe it'll grow on me but definitely didn't deserved the hype by insiders. Also not into shark fishing, wtf?

12. Let the Light In: Yeah, it's alright.

13. Margaret: I almost started singing "In the car, in the car, in the backseat, I'm your baby" at the beginning. Someone said it sounds like a Taylor Swift song? Yeah, that really ruined it for me. Still ok.

14. Fishtails: The sudden beat serving TikTok remix, I clacked. It's fine.

15. Peppers: Not the title just meaning The Red Hot Chili Peppers :monkey: With her, we should've known. It's a bop, it's welcome.

16. Taco Truck x VB: Taco Truck is ok, the Venice ***** remix... Time to get over NFR, girl (it bops nonetheless).

And that's sincerely, Jeremiah :butterfly:

Margaret might be one of her happiest songs in a hot minute :wanda:

It used to be my least fave but now creeping up into my top 3 :monkey: - what a massive grower!

knowing Lana, it's probably about getting her back broken while getting her hair braided

I was lying to myself that the 2 interludes were serving something just to help boost the 1st day streams, but today I had to remove them from my playlist

It’s almost like she included them just to be annoying tbh :rip:

"Margaret" would be an S-tier song if it wasn't for Bleachers' part :biblio:

I need her to review the album for NYT.

Del Rey’s homage speaks the language of digital-era listening (“his voice breaks at 2:05”), but her emotional connection to Nilsson is so deeply felt, it seems to transcend time and turn him into a peer.

“Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd” is as rich, challenging and singular as anything Del Rey has released yet, and given that its run time is a daunting hour and 17 minutes, it’s going to require a little time to sink in.

After a third listening, I have to say that Candy and Kintsugi are growing on me. I fear the only skip tracks are the interludes and this is a top 2 Lana's album. :msmarvel:

I never understood why yall hated and deleted the interludes but now I do :skull: like why? It can be bad but it needs to be short lmao. No one got time to listen to that angry male voice whine for 2 hours. Lana is a mess sometimes. Like why waste vinyl's space for that. Imagine skipping thosr part while playing the album from start to finish as an LP on vinyl :skull: that would be a chore :rip: in fact, I was planning to order 2 more variants of the vinyl but now Im thinking twice. I may not buy more afterall.
