Does it count as a visualizer if only a part of the song is heard  :deadbanana4:

The transition from her speaking voice then turns around and starts lip syncing...whew. She will always have it

I have. She stans Lana I know and every time she has that hat on a call Lana Queen Mother. NFR was her most fave album of that year iirc. But besides that she also has some questionable taste and when it comes to something a bit avant garde and a bit off from norm/experiemental she wont digest the first time. So Im afraid many songs from this album will make her be edgy and be like: :biblio:

I’m kinda confused bc this album is the epitome of a Lana album. I’m not sure how she wouldn’t love it.

Don’t call me stupid :gaycat5:- I am confused. Are we getting a full CN video or did she really get all dolled up for that little visualizer where 10% of the song is sung?

She’s gonna release a visualizer for every song before she drops the entire visual album :duca: I just know it

So what's the best looking vinyl :jonnycat: I like them all but I like the red Target version :jonnycat:

I feel like Fingertips is an "in the mood" song because its heavy subject matter, sometimes I have to skip it to get to the holy trinity that is Paris France, Grandpapi and Let the Hit In :ihype:, otherwise DYK is definitely growing on me :jonny4:

Caroline, what kind of mother was she to say I'd end up in institutions?
All I wanted to do was kiss Aaron Greene and sit by
The lake, twisting lime into the drinks that they made
Have a babe at sixteen in the town I was born in, and die

Aaron ended up dead and not me
What the ****'s wrong in your head to send me away, never to come back?
Exotic places and people don't take the place of being your child
I give myself two seconds to cry

I literally can't. My heart breaks for her she really bared her entire heart and soul in this. This **** is in different areas!

Spent some time listening to this album. It keeps getting better with every listen. You can tell that she was inspired and invested during the creative process.

The Grants - Wasn't feeling the intro at first, but now I can't imagine this song without it. Beautiful track though.

Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Boulevard? - Fell in love with this song on my first listen. A classic, I fear.

Sweet - This is probably my least favorite song off the album. There are certain parts of the song that I really like, but this song as a whole doesn't do it for me.

A&W - NFR has VB. COCC has WD. DYKTTATUOB has A&W. Such a wild and erratic, yet so catchy and pleasant track. Definitely one of my favorites.

Judah Smith Interlude / John Batiste Interlude - Both interludes are insufferable.

Candy Necklace - I'm getting UV vibes from this one. UV is one of my favorite Lana's albums (if not my favorite), so it's no surprise that I dig it.

Kintsugi / Fingertips - These songs are conversational and very wordy songs that she spoke about. I find them enjoyable, but I'm not really sure how often I'll use them. There are a lot of things to process. That being said, I have to be in a certain mood to truly experience them. I do get goosebumps every time I hear Kintsugi though.

Paris, Texas - Gotta love a good nostalgic song.

Grandfather please stand on the shoulders of my father while he's deep-sea fishing - Probably unpopular opinion, but it's highly overrated. It's a solid track, nothing more or less.

Let The Light In - Nice and simple song. I was scared for a second that this would be a proper duet, but it's just Lana's and FJM's vocals complementing each other at the end. Brooklyn Baby kind of situation.

Margaret - Really love this one. It puts a smile on my face. I wasn't really sure about the vocal production on Jack's part at first, but at this point, when I heard it multiple times, drunk-sounding vocals kinda make sense. They match the vibe of the song.

Fishtail - A bop. Although, it took me some time to adjust to the chorus and autotuned vocals.

Peppers - Hands down the messiest track on the album, but it's also super catchy.

Taco Truck x VB - Taco Truck should've been a separate and extended track. Not a fan of that transition from Taco Truck to VB and Margaret's mumbling. It just doesn't sound natural and seems forced to me. VB original version would've been a great addition to the NFR re-release for one of its anniversaries.
