Just as I suspected, the Judah Smith Interlude is great in context with the album :clap3:

I get the hate for Judah smith interlude but Jon batise sounded very cute as I listened to it walking down the street.

Jon Batiste is the perfect transition into Kintsugi :jonnycat: Love it

And Kintsugi is such a beautiful ******* masterpiece. It feels like a big warm hug.

Chucky was there for three out of three
I was there for the third 'cause I couldn't be
There for the one who was closest to me
But I can't say I run when things get hard
It's just that I don't trust myself with my heart
But I've had to let it break a little more
'Cause they say that's what it's for

Daddy, I miss them
I'm in the mountains
I'm probably runnin' away from the feelings I get
When I think all the things about them
Daddy, I miss them
I'm at the Roadrunner Café
I'm probably runnin' away from the thoughts in the day
I'd have things to do with them, but they say

Any theories on why she decided to close the album with Venice B*tch ?

In my personal narrative, the 3 songs at the end are very playful and taking the piss out of critics/herself a bit - they're also just fun.

It kind of ends the NFR-QFTC-COCC-VIOLET-BB to now Ocean era where this part of her career began. She's always been a bit disturbed at how ready everyone was to kiss up to her with NFR because it was so clean/neat in its depictions of love, culture, america, etc. - which led to QFTC -  so her giving us her arguably most acclaimed song since Video Games in a muddy trap version after Taco Truck which is just about how she doesnt care about the critics, its like reminding us that she's still her messy self, even venice ***** had an OG trap version instead of psych surf rock we got. She's doubling down :clap3:

Or she just likes the song :eli:

Ah-ah-ah-ah-ah
Just another folk song, but anyway
I try so hard, but that's okay
It's how the light gets in

Let's NOT come for alt legends TR/ST, Ionna Lee, Crystal Castles and Boy Harsher. (Despite the trash take of that user :rip:)

Ok, but she didn't have to serve the best 1-2-3 punch ever with Grandfather, Let The Light In and Margaret. This *****, her mind!!! :msmarvel:

Lana Del Rey, accused for so long of striking a pose, may ironically be the most naked, least affected pop superstar we have right now. That’s something worth putting on a billboard.

oh variety you're doing amazing sweetie... i get it now why she put you in her bio

First interlude is a skip from tomorrow, I'm not gonna lie.

The second one well i think i'm gonna skip it too almost of all the times but it's an interesting song.

This is so beautiful.mp3 :jonnycat: Her 4th best album deserves this, tbh.

Okay, Fingertips is probably top 5 in her whole discography and is so revealing and fruitful in its lyrical content and meaning....but WHY is there a HORRIBLE effect when she sings the "what kinda mother" part? It's HORRENDOUS....I'm pissed

I have only listened few songs. You guys can disagree but I don't understand the outgrade at my posts. You are acting like it's an Ariana Grande album  It's not that radically different whenever you agree or not.
