NoOneDiesFromLove Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Paris Texas has snatched the #1 spot for me
UnusualBoy Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 I love the instrumental for Judas Smith interlude but could've done without the man screaming through it.

UnusualBoy Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 That Jon Batiste interlude is horrendous, delete it Elizabeth. Is there any reason for these long ass interludes? The fact that her interludes are even longer than standard songs from nowadays
ScorpiosGroove Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 is it just me or was the pitchfork review kinda backhanded ? anyway she deserved at least 8.5

beautiful player Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Fishtail is such a letdown... the chorus is abysmal and anticlimactic. It had such potential. The run from Fingertips to Let the Light in is soooo good Definitely the heart of the album.

Roberto Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 I just know A&W and Peppers are kinda sisters. Belonged to Born To Die tho.
Abracadabra Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Not people preferring the Westboro Interlude over the Jon Batiste Interlude, I beg you to put down the crack pipe
NOW Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 (edited) Let the Light In shows she can still do light, romantic pop songs and knock it out of the ballpark, if she wanted to. It has the sentiment of a long lost 2010 demo. Spending the day perched on Genius, as are many of us: https://genius.com/#top-songs Edited March 24, 2023 by NOW

CottageHore Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 When are we gonna talk about the fact that “Grandfather” is the best song Lana’s ever released? The melody is classic and instant The lyrics are gorgeous and breathtaking Her vocals are incredible and so powerful And the production is the most lush, expansive and full thing she’s ever done yet it still doesn’t sound too polished, I- I haven’t felt this way about a Lana song on first listen since Off To The Races snatched my ****** soul when I was 13
