Ok, I finish the album and yeah, it's quite good. I still need to decide my faves but out of the new trask Tatsugiri, Fishtail, Margaret, Let The Light In are probably my standouts.

Great album, probably will grow on me. Unsure if it's my 2nd or 3rd fave Lana album (1 is NFR and either 2/3 is COCC, the other this).

My immediate favorite 3 were Sweet, A&R, and Fingertips.

After ~10 or so listens, I hate the interludes and I hate Peppers, but I love the rest of it.

I wonder if she shows Jack the lyrics before recording or she just stomps into the booth and start rambling about things. Like imagine him listening to her record Fingertips for the first time like :msmarvel:

Random but Fall Out Boy have a song on their new album (dropped today) called The Kintsugi Kid... what are the odds lol.

OT: I will say I'm enjoying this album more than I thought I would

this album really did nothing for me:gaycat6:

hopefully it grows on me

It's no NFR but it's still great. I need to give it a few more listens to decide which songs I will be keeping.

Let it crash over me

I really really liked the album. I immediately fell in love with Paris, Texas. It's just so beautiful.

After the first listening, I really connected with The Grants, Don't Forget Me, Sweet, Grandfather, Let The Light In, Marguerite and Peppers. I need a second listening tho, because between the interludes and Kintsugi I got bored as ****, like, it never happened to me before with a Lana album, not even with COCC.

The interludes have no redeeming quality whatsoever but Kintsugi is kind of a grower, give it another shot :msmarvel:

Truly one of her best songs ever, COCC is my least favorite of hers but it has some stellar songs like WD, COCC, TJF and Yosemite :msmarvel:
