Fishtail is a Top 3 album track and already in her Top 30 songs. But y’all aren’t ready to have that conversation! Over It Drinking GIF by Leroy Patterson

I listened to the album again this morning and I realized that I'm not a big fan of her more "wordy" songs. I remember when she released Hope and I didn't like it right off the bat and I'm still not a big fan. I don't know, for me those songs sound more like poems and she should keep them for her poetry books/albums. So yeah that's the main reason why I don't like Kintsugi and Grandfather that much. Sweet on the other hand is kinda wordy but I love it so much, one of my faves :weeps:

Is anyone else annoyed by the transition from Judah Smith Interlude and Candy Necklace? :skull: It sounds like there's a glitch or something at the end.

This album is a trip...!

Easily in her Top 3 with Norman and UV, but there's so much to uncover here...

Love her reeeeally leaning into her Cat Power influence

Fishtails, Taco Truck, Let the Light In were the immediate standouts for me, but the piano is so gorgeous throughout

Can't wait to grow with this album :spring: what a ******* CAREER !

I don’t really know what happened with my love for Lana… Born To Die is one of my favourite albums of all time but ever since Lust for Life my general interest in her music

 has just vanished…

Odd because it coincides with the release of NFR… her most acclaimed body of work.

Trying to give this record a chance but I’m 5 songs in and I’m bored to tears. :rip:

Same, LFL is one of my favorites and very underrated. It has some duds (like literally every album) but overall is a great record :1stplace:

That's understandable, her sound changed so much since then. As I said yesterday, the first half of Ocean Blvd has some really high highs but the lows are really low too, but the second half is very consistent so hang in there :msmarvel:
