Living Legend Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Listening right now... so far it's washing over me... love it.
WildAmerican Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 wait Sweet is really cute idk if it'll be one of my faves but I like it alot
BlackAura Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 How do my blood relatives know all of these songs? I don't know anyone left to know songs that I sing
DevinWylde Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 (edited) This is her best produced album since Ultraviolence. Calling it now, I'm on Jon Batiste Interlude and it's blowing me away. NFR was always about the lyrics for me. This is so full, cinematic, meticulous and COHESIVE. Edited March 24, 2023 by DevinWylde
WildAmerican Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 wait Candy Necklace is kinda giving Bartender, i won

WildAmerican Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 KINTSUGI the song that you are why am i crying
Haze Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 I've avoided basically everything up until now ... Just had my first listen, i'm absolutely floored. It's her best work by a landslide (and that's saying something, since I adored her last three as well!). She's at her best when she just lets loose, Fingertips made me tear up, Grandfather gave me chills ... She's undoubtedly the best writer active right now. And how was Jack's production so insipid on midnights yet fantastic here? She must have very clear ideas for him to work with.
WildAmerican Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 (edited) the one-two three punch of Paris Grandfather, let the light in Edited March 24, 2023 by WildAmerican
State of Grace. Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 I've always fantasized about this, but Paris Texas really makes me hope she collabs with Sufjan someday The song is so ******* pretty. It immediately made me think of him and this scene idk
Alex Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 i don't want to be negative but outside from a few songs.... it's gonna have to grow on me yeah
est. in 90s Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 The Grants just may be one of Lana's best album openers
popmusicisdead Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 ....when things get hard It's just that I don't trust myself with my heart.. .
Billionaire Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 Have yet to listen to the album in full but Paris, Texas is such a beautiful song. My god. Wasn't the biggest fan of alot of her recent material but if the rest of this album is just as good as this
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted March 24, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted March 24, 2023 it kind of sends me how nikki lane and miles kane couldn't get feature credits but syml's and riopy's pianos could, jon batiste's three spoken "candy necklaces" could, father john misty's snow on the beach'd vocals could, and a tommy genesis sample could like if Lana felt stingy then jack could have the only listed feature credit on this
mylicious Posted March 24, 2023 Posted March 24, 2023 I can't get over at how good PEPPERS is, what a vibe. Such a good feel track to move to, I love it.
