Okay so after 2 listens:

1. Fingertips

2. A&W

3. Paris, Texas

4. Grandfather

5. Kintsugi

6. Ocean Blvd

7. Candy Necklace

8. Taco Truck x VB

9. The Grants

10. Fishtail

11. Let The Light In

12. Margaret

13. Sweet

14. Peppers

I'm still so overwhelmed but I love a good trauma dump. I absolutely LOVE every song here and I can see my ranking changing over the week as I do a deep dive into the lyrics. The interludes are a bit long but I'm so in love with the instrumental on the pastor one so idc what he's rambling about.  This album is such a triumph and it's definitely one for the diehard liddo anals. I wouldn't be surprised if she even loses some listeners after this.

100% agreed. :lmao: More excellence for us.

Kintsugi and Margaret try their best to ruin the album. Honestly feel like it wouldve been received better overall if not for those two, literal bloat.

Not Slant ruining the “Lana’s acclaimed again” party like that :deadbanana2:

The way they think being the outlier the stand out is cool. No they are not. Im sure they were bullied when they were in highschool to hold this grudge toward our white beautiful lady. I hope they continued to be bullied

Feelin' hella rare
Baby, if you care
Baby, don't you dare say
You'll braid my hair, see

people tried so hard to make Margaret a filler/flop when it's probably the most acclaimed song from the entire album outside of A&W so far. :lmao:

It’s only been one listen so who knows how this will stand the test of time, but this will easily nudge COTCC out of the Top 3 and might surpass NFR for my second favorite album.

Will UV be shaking in her boots down the line too? That #1 spot is approaching :jonnycat:

The biggest punch I’ve gotten from a Lana song since OTTR in 2011. Perhaps her best song? I’m not even joking. oprah winfrey GIF

The way the “aaaaahhhaaaaa…ahhhhaaaaa” from Venice ***** creeps in as the bass builds :jonny3:

This is the experience of being an American ***** is possibly one of the rawest lines she has written. So glad I waited to hear it in context of the album
