Why does genius say Fishtail is about her childhood

I can just tell that this will be another underappreciated, misunderstood gem in her discog. The BTD of the 20s, I fear! 
 

In a few months time, everyone in here will be seeing the light and the vision, seeing this album for what it is- her most daring and innovative! Critics in a few years will be reflecting on their arrogance and upping their ratings. New artists will emerge with their own stream of consciousness Fingertips and going #1 for it!

 

I haven’t heard the album and yet I just get it. I know these things.

Del Rey’s ninth album is one of her most confounding to date, although that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

As the cumbersome title might suggest, this album is a lot to take in, and with a run time of 77 minutes it is undoubtedly too long. In years to come, however, it may well go down as one of Del Rey’s best records – or at least one of her most honest.

Acclaim.  This album will definitely be better received in a some years time as we reflect back. It really is a magnificent record. 
 

So not here for the seasonal fans who are going to listen and come in talking about it being boring and the same old. Those “fans” just hoping for another BTD or UV. This is one of Lana’s best and most beautiful and heartbreaking body of work to date and I DON’T want to hear any bad takes with this one! Stream Fingertips and see the LIGHT.

if we can neglect the first verse, "sweet" is as beautiful as her bare feet... the vocal run in 1st chorus, the penmanship in 2nd verse, and the disney princess anthem in the final chorus
