Kinda a shame she doesn't enjoy performing live that much. It would have been a good move to play like half of the album live and upload it on YT.

Especially the music that she is making today would make a great live experience. I would have prefered a show in LA in an intimate setting that gets recorded & uploaded instead of the listening parties.

I hope her band learns the new material.

i really hope we get blindsided by a tour announcement in the next few weeks, i need to see her :chick3:

I stopped listening. I need to preserve for next week. But I have been listening to LTLI. Now that song is pure gorgeousness. :bird:

In the mean time I’m streaming Ridin (My *****) now that was a classic

A tour would really be something different than festivals. At festivals you play crowd pleasers. On a tour she could really do so much more, but I have given up hope that she may become that girl :skull:

I honestly don’t understand why a lot of artists don’t do this tbh, or just record and release live albums - it’s such a cheap and effective thing to do :giraffe:

It's not profitable enough. Booking a venue, paying the musicians, paying for the production, catering and travel costs, taxes etc. If it's a small venue, the money off the tickets wouldn't cover the costs. And if you uploaad it on Spotify or AM, it's a separate album, so the streams don't go to the album that actually charts, but you are losing streams for the studio album. Messed up, but yeah it would be cool.

Just noticed that Lana uses Jack's instrumentation for "L.A Who Am I to Love You" in the pastor's interlude

I think her team gave the album to some publications early. It looks like they're all British media too...I see you Ben + Ed

Do we have a MC thread set up for this already?

Not great, but I don't think the last one counts for anything. Not sure if the RS UK counts on its own or is just in line with what will be the US rating

FarOut + iNews don't count (irrelevant). Disappointed in DIY + Line of Best Fit, though.

No chance for anything around 85. It will be between 72-80.
