The Grants Norman ******* Rockwell

Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd  Mariners Apartment Complex

Sweet Venice *****

A&W **** It I Love You

Sweet Doin' Time

Kintsugi Love Song

Fingertips Cinnamon Girl

Paris,Texas How To Disappear

Grandfather California

Margaret The Next Best American Record

Fishtail The Greatest

Peppers Bartender

Let the light in Happiness Is A Butterfly

Taco Truck x VB Hope Is A Dangerous Thing

NFR I'm sorry :bird:

I’m doing it with the songs already released:

The Grants Norman ******* Rockwell

Tunnel MAC

Sweet VB (haven’t heard Sweet, but there‘s no way the opposite is going to happen)

A&W FIILY

Gosh, it’s really hard to beat NFR and I’m thinking it’s hardly going to happen with most of the songs here. I can see DT, LS and CG beaten, HTD/California are possible too.

TNBAR would be the easiest, but I have a feeling Margaret is going to be on the bottom so I’m not sure. The Greatest is unbeatable, Bartender is difficult (from what I read about Peppers I’m imagining something like Florida Kilos), HIAB is also almost impossible to beat.

Taco Truck could beat Hope, maybe?

So, I’m either underestimating this album or it’s just too hard to top NFR as a whole, and I’m more inclined with the second option ‘cause I actually have high expectations about this record.

Paris, Texas lyrics for all fellow stans :bird:

Spoiler

I went to Paris (Texas)

With the suitcase in my hand

I had to leave

Knew they wouldn't understand

When you know you know

When you know you know

It's time, it's time to go

When you know you know

Then the more you know

It's time to go

I took a train to Spain

Just a notebook in my hands

And I went to see some friends of mine

Down in Florence, Alabama

When you know you know

When you know you know

It's time, it's time to go

When you know you know

That it's time to leave

Like the summer breeze

When everyone stars bright

Brighter than you are

It's time to go

And you're the only one that

Dancing while they're on the floor

Time to go

I flew back home

It's like everything they say

Except that you weren't home

Hello I call to know why, but

When you're home you're home (Venice, California)

When you're home you're home (Venice, California)

You're home when you're alone

When you're right you're right

When you're right you're right

Even when you're wrong

These horrible takes.

genuinely what is the point in comparing directly across tracklists like, im not trying to be rude to anyone doing in that here, but i just do not get that

While I love VB on Taco Truck I wish that it was shorter and the actual Taco Truck longer. Uhhh.
Let The Light In is my least favorite song so far. Not counting the interludes.

Who chose The Garbs over Norman freaking Rockwell??? Lmaooo :bibliahh:

another work of art by Lana, I thought Margaret was beautiful and the other songs maintain the level, maybe a little more order in the tracklist could help but in general it's good

Spoiler

I hate when Lana does bops and Doin Time is one. Candy Necklace is a ballad from the snippet we've heard so

why shouldn't she use the iconic and legendary Venice Bxtch.

:bird:

i'm sure there's a reason why they did it.

I mean I haven’t heard it so all I’m questioning is how exactly it was used. Some are saying it’s literally the exact song, words and all, with other lyrics spliced over it which sounds so odd

it's pretty much the same, just with a different beat over it.

:bird:

it works though.

This album has to be listened to in order, the storytelling and evolution of all the different sounds are just stunning.

I see no one has mentioned that the first half of Taco Truck into the transition samples the melody and guitar breakdown of Hotel California by The Eagles  This woman's mind, I swear
